140s:
DH, DS, & I walked the nature trail yesterday morning, it was almost chilly, wore a jacket. When we got back we had bacon, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit and donuts for breakfast. DS & I picked green beans, tomatoes, and a jalapeno for him to take home. I moved the laundry along, one of the cats puked on our bedspread, had some couch time. We met DS at Six Flags around 4, it was crowded. The Haunted Maze attractions open at 6, so we got in line for a roller coaster. The line was over an hour long, so by the time we got to ride, it was time to start doing the haunted houses. We sent through Saw and Stranger Things, where the lines were not too bad, then went to Nyctophobia for another hour long wait. We decided to get something to eat and sit for a bit. We went to Johnny Rockets, got cheeseburgers with fries and onion rings. It was all pretty good for amusement park food. After eating we decided we were done and headed to the parking lot. I didn't feel the haunted houses were worth the long waits in line, but they did a good job with decorating the park and it seemed like there were more "characters" walking around in amazing costumes and makeup. Last year we bought express passes for an extra $15, but they hiked up the price this year to an extra $40. It was around 10 when we got home. I had a protein shake, watched a bit of TV, took a bath, read, and went to bed.
It's another pretty day here today, in the low 50's right now. My feet hurt, but I did get over 18,000 steps yesterday. I still didn't meet my calorie burn goal set by Fitbit, sheesh! I don't think I'm able to do more. I thought I finally got the Stridekick thing figured out, but it seems like it stopped syncing again. Sadly, the giant pandas have departed Zoo Atlanta for China. Glad I got to see them earlier in the year.
Jan- WTG steps, PU, AP, tracking, AF. I think your booth will be fine, better too much than too skimpy. Sorry you didn't see the northern lights, I really want to see them sometime. Hope the Cricut class was fun and worthwhile. I buy the plastic canvas star shapes, they stitch up really quick with mostly long stitches.
Vicki- Glad the wedding went well, better to be overprepared. Yay for a beautiful and DH making dinner in the crockpot.
Carole- Yay for a nice day, an easier workout than planned, getting chores done.
Cindy- Yay for a day of football and getting your infusion moved up on Tuesday. Hopefully it's good that SIL is moving so fast, getting help from DH's friends. I can't imagine DS having such a terrible commute every day. Hugs for your anniversary, sorry DS mentioned it to friend/girl.
Cathy- WTG for another OP day, glad you were able to talk to your daughter, and she is working on the visa. Sorry about the mosquitos, I swatted a few while standing in line last night, which I was surprised to see.
