We are a group of like-minded people that gather to discuss a host of topics from weight loss, to current events. Our thread celebrates liberal diversity, welcomes new friends, and respects all opinions. We count everything from calories to points but, we never count our chickens before they are hatched.

So, who would belittle President Obama, the US Intel agencies, & cast doubt that Russia interfered in our elections? And do this on foriegn soil to boast his own ego on the world stage & possibly think that he will be respected for these kind of statements? Only our Fake Prez would. IDIOT!

It is amazing that this JA just can't even present a positive face when he's in front of the world. Instead, he has to say that we don't know for sure that Russia meddled in the election when even the people he has appointed himself say there is irrefutable evidence; and, then go after the media again in a country where the government is cracking down hard on freedom of the press. Something Tweety himself wants to do, but legally can't so he resorts to trying to make his followers stop believing anything the media reports. With this JA everything is All Trump All The Time. Nothing exists outside his own view of himself, and if he had his way he'd jail anyone who dared to contradict him. www.washingtonpost.com/news/global-opinions/wp/2017/07/04/the-greatest-threat-facing-america-is-our-own-president/Chilling read

He tries to equate the "not being certain it was Russia" issue with the WMDs in Iraq. Correct me if I am wrong, but the intelligence community NEVER said they were CERTAIN Iraq had WMDs. They said their best analysis was that they had them, and Bush/Cheney decided to tell the world it was a certainty. Here everyone in intelligence around the world, including JA's own appointees are saying the have irrefutable, solid, hard core evidence that it was Russia. Not even remotely the same thing. Yet, JA has no interest whatsoever in trying to keep it from happening again. Of course not! It got him elected. I don't think the voting machines were tampered with, although they could have been in some states, but clearly the propaganda released put JA into power. Obviously Comey had a big hand in that as well, so I have some real issues with him. It's almost like he sold his soul once, and now he's trying to redeem it.

Walter Shaub, Director of the Office of Government Ethics has resigned. " In working with the current administration, it has become clear to me that we need improvements to the existing ethics program," he said. While Shaub didn't really have any power, still he was a voice crying out from the wilderness. Now JA will be able to appoint his own person to a 5-year term. Shaub first began under President G.W. Bush. Now it's going to be even more important for journalists to keep digging. Otherwise, there won't even be a voice in the wilderness. How low this country has fallen . . .

Spoken like a true diplomat. He could have said, "This WH has no ethics. None at all."
