Happy New Year everyone!
Give yourself credit for what you did in 2016.

Happy New Year! I tracked more days in 2016 than in many previous years. The WW tracker is so much easier to use. I had a good recovery from my total knee replacement because I lost weight, took pilates and restorative yoga and walked daily until the operation and then followed everything I was told to do afterward. I continued to try new recipes and eat less red meat. I was very good about not drinking diet sodas until the last month of the year but I will be more mindful in 2017. I've made an effort to participate in daily message boards. I may not do all of them all the time but ones like this one give me lots of support.
Have a lovely day and I wish you all good health, joy and prosperity in that order for 2017.

Yes, we did Beck book reviews, yeah for us. They are important to me because my mind can wander and then I end up in portion creep and we all know where that leads.
Maintained for another year although I am up by about two pounds from last year. This is partly due to me overeating and partly due to how my body swings a bit high or low on its own. Think I am in my "winter and like to eat" mode.

I have maintained my weight, at my LT goal, the entire year. I have walked over 650 miles at the mall, 2 miles a day. I have continued attending WW meetings and usually make them weekly unless we are traveling. I've done 3 Beck reviews this year even when I have not contributed 100% of the time. Coming to the boards is the other support I've enjoyed this year and have learned so much from the contributions I read here.
I'm trying different recipes this past year and hope to continue with this. I've enjoyed learning about different foods that I've not eaten before. I have not done well with my weights this past year and my goal for 2017 is to increase this. I took a yoga/pilates class this past fall that I really enjoyed and I'm going to repeat that in the spring, 2017.
I had good check-ups with my doctors this past year and my lab tests were all in normal ranges. I certainly want to continue these in 2017.
I second Audrey's wishes for 2017: good health, joy and prosperity!

Happy New Year everyone
I did did not have a good 2015 or 2016 due to deaths of my mom and mother in law. This year hopefully will be more positive.
I am still not at my goal weight but have not gained more. Been tracking again and hope to be at goal in a couple of months. The remodeling is a challenging time to keep eating in control but doing ok. Cooking simple but healthy meals.

Happy New Year! Its good to get back to the thread after a few days. My partner has been on vacation since just before Christmas and where on the one hand its been a treat, I really do much better when my routine isn't messed with too much. I'm glad 2016 is in the rear view mirror. I had some tough personal challenges this last year. The long election season was particularly nasty too. I'm really glad to be turning the page and meeting 2017 head on. As far as 2016 credit, its been a whole year since my last cigarette yay! I've worked my plan and was thrilled to find the iTrackbites App so I could keep tracking PP successfully. It was another year with the GHGs, the Beck reviews, and coming to the boards. Now onto knocking off the salt and sugar bombs of the last week Hope everyone has a great first day!

I maintained everything. I maintained my weight. I maintained my exercise. I maintained tracking. I think I made progress in some non-weight areas. In fencing, my new coach is helping me to correct some bad habits. I haven't completely mastered the new skills, but at least I'm able to do them sometimes.

I made goal in 2016,tried new veggies and actually liked them, started walking again and started going back to Curves 3 times a week.I am healthier than I have ever been and in a size that I previously only wear for about a week years ago.I am able to cook and clean and enjoy doing it which is something I haven't been able to do in a long time.I did my first Beck review and learned a lot of new things.I am looking forward to continue to try veggies I have never had and try new recipes and continue my activity.
Happy New Year to all and hoping everyone has the best year they have ever had.

I'd like to join in this thread this year as I'm now back at my Lifetime weight, and my personal history tells me maintaining is truly my downfall. I've read the Beck book, and recently purchased it, so would like to review it along with you when you start up again. Also, it has struck me the past couple of weeks at the weekly meetings, which I will continue to attend, that WW's new approach is very similar to what Beck writes. Anyway, a year ago I was a lapsed lifetime member, having made lifetime sometime in the late 1970s. In January 2016 I rejoined WW for what felt like the millionth time, but this time I followed the smart points plan very carefully and tracked what I ate. I'm now 43 pounds lighter, and at an acceptable lifetime weight. So, I'm going to give myself credit for staying on plan, consistently tracking, riding an exercise bike regularly, attending weekly yoga classes, and getting back to goal weight. At this point I need the weekly meetings as well as daily checking in to these boards to keep me from becoming a lapsed member again.
I wish you all a wonderful 2017!

Jan: Welcome to the board. We start the book on Friday, February 24th, with the introduction and then the first four chapters a chapter a day. The days of the program start with Day 1 on Wednesday, March 1st.
The book and the reviews really have helped me maintain this time. This is my third time at goal and first time maintaining. I too need the weekly meetings and the help of my online WW friends.
