We are a group of like-minded people that gather to discuss a host of topics from weight loss, to current events. Our thread celebrates liberal diversity, welcomes new friends, and respects all opinions. We count everything from calories to points but, we never count our chickens before they are hatched.

💧💧💧...Drip Drip Drip ...💧💧💧
I know the JA family isn't all that smart, but golly you would think they could count. Now there was a 5th person in the room with Jr., Kushner, Manafort & the Russian lawyer that Jr didn't reveal when he was being "totally" transparent. I think Kusher is going to be thrown under the bus by Daddy in law because Jr is such a good boy! The stupidity of it all!

Obit that showed up in my FB newsfeed this morning....
Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.
He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as knowing when to come in out of the rain, why the early bird gets the worm, life isn’t always fair, and maybe it was my fault. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don’t spend more than you earn) and reliable parenting (adults, not children, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned, but overbearing, regulations were set in place.
Reports of a six-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate, teenagers suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition. Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job they had themselves failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer paracetamol, sun lotion or plaster to a pupil, but could not inform the parents when a pupil became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.
Common Sense lost the will to live as churches became businesses and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn’t defend yourself from a burglar in your own home, but the burglar could sue you for assault because you protected yourself and your own.
Common Sense finally passed away after a 7-year-old child was suspended from school for chewing a Pop Tart into the shape of a gun.
Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust, his wife, Discretion, his daughter, Responsibility and his son, Reason. He is survived by three stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, Someone Else is to Blame, and I’m A Victim. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized that he was gone.
If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.

I keep thinking this constant drip, drip, drip is soon going to become a monsoon.
Really, these people just are beyond comprehension, and clearly they never met common sense as Linda described him above. Too bad he wasn't at their meeting. Really, if someone sent you a message and said they had information from the Russian government that might be to your benefit, would you jump on it and say great, come on over?! It seems to me that just normal common sense would have made you be cautious about this, and if your father, father-in-law, and boss was running for President looks like at least one of these three yahoos would have thought, "This might not be such a good idea to go be cavorting around with Russian government connections." I mean, really come on! Nobody is that naive! And then to compound it all by just continuing to lie, leave out parts, and say Oops! just doesn't cut it. Maybe they should have called up Haldeman and Ehrlichman for a few tips.
It will be interesting to see how long it takes before JA starts cutting them loose. And no reasonable person can possibly think that he truly didn't know about this at the time.
They're almost making Mueller's job too easy for him.

By the way girls, "You're in such good shape!" Can he embarrass us any further? Don't answer that, because we already know the answer is a resounding yes! He's just the embarrassment that keeps on giving.

"Honestly, in a world of politics, most people are going to take that meeting. If somebody called and said, 'Hey' -- and you're a Democrat -- and by the way, they have taken them -- 'Hey, I have ... some information on Donald Trump. You're running against Donald Trump. Can I see you?' I mean, how many people are not going to take the meeting?" Trump said."
Big, big, even bigly difference in that and, "I have information on your opponent from the Russian government, who by the way wants to help you win . . ." They really do believe we are all total idiots!

""You're in such good shape. She's in such good physical shape. Beautiful," Trump told the French President's wife, who was standing next to first lady Melania Trump."
(you know he meant "you are in such good shape for an old lady, but I still wonder what the attraction is?)
Can't believe he is making W. look good.

Remember that game, Where in the World is Waldo?".. Now, it's "Where in the world is Jim?"
Personally, I think Jim is JA "Imaginary Friend " that lives in his head. "Sad" ...🙄...(sarcastic)

Oh Jim has a lot of friends, don't you remember when we all met him? He is taking on Dumpfy as a Charity Case for the good of the country. I think he takes JA out for apizza or Micky D's once a week. Now we know where Jim has been keeping himself..........

I just looked to see what Faux News is saying about the Russia meeting. Here's the headline on their website:
"Parallel Probes FBI Investigation of Sanders' Wife tracks research from Hillary campaign"
followed by pictures of Bernie with his wife and a picture of Hillary
I had to laugh, but honestly, it's not really funny. Now I don't know if Bernie's wife did anything wrong or not. She may or may not have done so. But this is more important news than what is going on with Russian collusion? Does no one on the Republican side realize that the election is long over, and they won? What Bernie's wife or Hillary's campaign knew or may have done is news, but certainly not more important news than colluding with the Russians to win an election. These people are just unreal! Honestly, if you were writing a screen play you couldn't actually make this stuff up. No wonder their followers are so out of touch and just plain dumb.
