Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend still least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning all,
Sounds like everyone had a good New Years. Looking forward to 2017.
Ruth - I started watching the Bills game, my interest lasted all of 10 minutes. I took my tree down and put decorations away instead. Good move, they were humiliated by the Jets.
Cathy - sinus issues can be so long lasting. I hope John gets some relief soon.
Dottie - glad you were able to get some well needed rest. Yes, the grocery store I work in is quite large. Usually 12-15 registers are open during busy times. Holidays are always busier than usual. Next big week will be before the Super Bowl.
Jill - hope all is going well with you.
Cleaned out fridge and pantry in addition to putting away decorations. I was busy. I switched over where I keep items. When I made chili I realized I had way too many cans of beans, so I moved my canned goods where I will see them easier. I put baking items in place of the canned goods, I seldom use them.
I also plan to cook more often. I have been eating out way too much, and it's just not healthy for me to continue to do that. I gained some weight and am feeling uncomfortable again. My knees are feeling that extra weight. I usually don't make resolutions, but I want to get back to where I was last year at this time. I joined a couple of challenges to help me along.
Prayers continue for all in need.
Enjoy your day.

Good morning everyone. Laundry, trees to come down, and decorations to get put away. No girls until Wednesday, and then only if daddy doesn't keep her.
My roasts overflowed and burned on the inside of the base of my oblong crockpot! Bad enough I have to scour the ceramic part (yes, I had a liner, but too much liquid!!)!! Says to not submerge base, but I figure ok to fill part way with water! Did & put it on the counter. I wash a few things, look down, and there's a lake of greasy water on the kitchen floor! Running toward the dining area! I cleaned up the water, Stan is now using the steam cleaner on the greasy floor! And I still have to scrub the three crockpot pieces! Ever have a day like that? If I hadn't made the bed, I'd get back in it!!

Joyce, sounds like you were very busy with your cleaning and organizing of your cabinets/closet. Always makes me feel good when I can find things easily.
Ruth, sorry to hear about your day and yes I have had days like that. Hope the steam cleaner is helping with the greasy floor. I have a steam cleaner and really like how it cleans. Hope you have a better day tomorrow.
Feeling better but now my ears are clogged and it makes watching TV and listening to DH very difficult. Did get in the pool for about 15 min. I donβt really swim but walk back and forth in the pool, good exercise for the knees. Have a good night.
