YIKES! It's getting alittle crazy in all things politics! Funny that JA wants a Pardon for Fake Russian Dealings & things he hasn't been charged with...yet!...LOL
I laugh one minute over his complete stupidly & insanity & cringe the next for what he is doing to this country. In other words, probably just scared! Where in the world are the Congressional leaders that can start Impeachment Proceedings, like NOW! So tired of the talk, talk, talk!

Where in the world are the Congressional leaders that can start Impeachment Proceedings, like NOW! So tired of the talk, talk, talk! According to this depressing article, they're all hiding under the bed just trying to push their own agendas through, and totally ignoring what is happening in the country. I found this article depressing, because according to the Rs interviewed here they don't have any plans to do anything about the JA no matter what comes out. The ONLY way they'll do anything is if his base magically starts to falter, and they are all scared stiff of getting Limbaugh and Hannity on their case if they speak out against the lunatic in the WH. This is a good article, but for me it was very depressing. It just steps all over any hope that the Rs might grow a backbone and stand up to this menace. www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2017/07/what-congressional-republicans-really-think-about-trump-and-russia/533784/

We are getting closer and closer to the JA's firing Mueller. I had been hopeful that if JA fired Mueller that Congress would step up to the plate and reappoint him as the article below suggests. However, this article is what a Democrat is saying, and the article above that interviewed Republicans makes me doubtful that would happen. How many votes would it take for Congress to reappoint Mueller if JA fired him? The Rs have the majority so the Ds couldn't do it alone. thehill.com/homenews/house/337517-top-intel-dem-to-trump-dont-waste-our-time-considering-firing-mueller

Nothing in the news is hopeful right now. Republicans are just going to keep dancing at the party celebrating that they are "in control" while absolutely nothing gets accomplished and the JA ruins the country beyond repair while making himself and his family richer. The Republicans just keep dancing. Will there ever come a time when they have to pay the fiddler?

It will be interesting to see if JA asked for Spicer's resignation, which now WH is claiming he did not, but usually what they come out and say in the first round is the complete opposite of what they say a little later. Or, maybe Spicer recognized that the smart thing to do was bail out now rather than go down with the ship.

Last night I was thinking that this presidency was beginning to crumble. I mean when you're already looking towards the power of the pardon - like so many other behaviors, it just screamed guilty - guilty of something anyway. I don't know what to think now. If Spicer hadn't resigned, wouldn't the top story right now be this attempt to smear Mueller and the pardon power? Spicer could be classic misdirection. And all the while, everything just languishes. History won't be kind to this administration.

Good point, Pam. Maybe Spicer is taking a hit for the team, or rather for the omnipotent leader as there is no team where this JA is concerned. He could be doing exactly that. It's going to be very interesting to see what washes out of all this.
The pardons thing is very concerning. I agree with Pam that there is something illegal there, and JA is getting very scared it's all going to come tumbling out. I don't know what the "illegal" acts are or who and how many committed them, but definitely there is something there. I've been hearing and reading talk of money laundering. Maybe that's why JA is so panicky about Mueller checking into family finances.

A presidential pardon is possible for everything BUT impeachment. Also a pardon does not erase a person's guilt - just the sentence. It is very likely why Gerald Ford lost his election. In giving Nixon a pardon, he spared a guilty man from serving a sentence.
I heard so many times, follow the money. Who knows what will be uncovered as far as Russia but, I don't think its any secret that he borrowed great sums of money from Russian banks when US banks would no longer loan to him after so many bankruptcies. Likely this goes to why he's so sensitive about his tax return. Some have speculated he owes hundreds of millions.
So many shady characters connected to these people..... I hope the investigative process is allowed to continue. You don't have to worry if you haven't done anything wrong. Mueller is universally liked by both parties. We have to get to the bottom of the election mess in order to combat future attacks. Get it all out there and let the chips fall where they may. If nobody did anything wrong..........oh who am I kidding?!

Get it all out there and let the chips fall where they may. My thoughts exactly! I'm pretty sure they're going to uncover wrong doing, "bigly" wrong doing; but, if pigs start flying and JA and his entire family come out squeaky clean then I'd like to know that too. Everything this man or his family does directly affects his presidency. When he chose to run for President, then that means it all should be an open book to the American people who are, afterall, HIS boss. Although clearly he doesn't recognize that and thinks he's an Emperor or King. There's no way I believe there is this much smoke around Russia and the election without there being a huge blaze somewhere. But if not, then we need to know that. The fact that Mueller seems to be well respected on both sides of the aisle makes him a very good choice to dig into it all. As for some of the people who are working under Mueller having made political donations to Democratic candidates, so what?! Are we saying that anyone who ever made a political donation can't be objective in doing their job? It's not like they poured millions of dollars into the DNC. They made very reasonable political donations. If they made this same type of donation to the RNC, I would not think that meant they couldn't be objective and do their job. Heck! We still keep hoping Congress will at some point be objective and do their job.

Doesn't sound like the new WH Director of Communications had any problem whatsoever making that loyalty oath. I wonder if they also cut their fingers and became blood brothers?

He loves the camera so much, I bet Sarah will be pushed to the background on days they allow cameras in the room.
