1/2/2017 Today is my anniversary--- last year on January 2nd I rejoined Weight Watchers for the umpteenth time. I hadn't been back since 2013 and had regained all the weight I'd lost since "almost" getting back to Lifetime in 2011. I was hearing all kinds of horror stories about Smartpoints from the WW boards but dug in anyway. The first week I celebrated my birthday on 2 separate days and still lost 4 lbs.!! Drank wine, ate a piece of ice cream cake and had pizza and still lost! I had hope!
Nine months later (2 cruises and assorted other "life happenings") and lo and behold I was back to Lifetime and a normal BMI !
It's now 3 months into maintaining ( up and down the same 2 lbs but within range.). Learning how to maintain is a different journey for sure!
I needed to reflect on where I've been and what I've learned (lots and mainly from this group! ). I now need to set up some new goals ( drink more water, change up exercises, new classes?, learning some new recipes to change up my food choices).
A big thanks and a hug to those who have helped along this journey.
Please feel free to add your reflections...

Congrats on being lifetime and 3 months of maintaining. It definitely is a different creature than loosing.
I've been maintaining for 4 years now. I've been playing a little fast and loose recently and although I'm still under goal I'm not in my happy range. SO I'm really tracking hard and planning. I know that I've come a long way and it's a life style.
There will be times when you get resentful that this is your lifestyle. You will want to make poor choices, and you will make poor choices. but that doesn't make you a bad person. It makes you normal. Pick your self up, get a glass of water and a piece of fruit and track.
You can do this! Have a wonderful new year

Congratulations, Pat! You know so many of my thoughts, there's no reason for me to drivel on. I just will say that to find the points that work for you and stick with them for a while, it would make me nuts to be changing mine up all the time. I know many people don't eat all the points that WW's gives them, I'd be looney tunes. I think the more consistent you can be, the easier it is.
So glad to see how much better you were feeling today!

Awesome post! I have done maintenance 2 times before and want this to be the last. It is very challenging but I feel so good and its fun to get clothes again. Yes, tracking makes a difference for me but I chose to do it. And love the support here, that has made difference because none of my friends do WW. So we can help each other!

So glad to see how much better you were feeling today! I took DebDoesWW 's advice and am avoiding the scale until Wednesday!! (fingers crossed that the "sugar/salt" was making the number a false jump!!) I'll let you know how brave I am when Friday's WW weigh-in rolls around!!

Yeah Pat. I love the part about new recipes. Those are the corner stone to not getting bored with meals. Keep up the great work!
