Do any of you have suggestions for a GPS app for an Android phone?

bbbearsmom, I think she is asking for another recommendation. One of the two I gave you should work for you. lmenglish, I put the level and row number in my notepad. We call that a low-tech app.

I use Google Maps. Waze is good for me when we're traveling and I want to check on traffic problems up ahead of us on the road.

Well actually most of the time we either use the GSP in our cars, or the portable we have when we're on vacation. But a couple of times I've used Google maps and it works great. I bought a car charger so I can use my phone, instead of bringing the portable GPS, on an upcoming trip.

The GPS apps do drain power quickly, so a car charger is a necessity.
We have a Garmin GPS , but for some reason (despite updating it frequently) it occasionally sends us on wild goose chases, so I don't trust it.

As I said we have a portable GPS that we use when we rent a car. I prefer it since the screen is larger than the phone. However, on one trip the GPS conked out on us when we tried to start it up. So, we used my phone. It did work great, but we were just hoping the power would last until we got to our destination. So, now we have the car charger.

I am looking for an app to locate a car, no map help. I have Google maps, waze, mapquest, but want an app specifically for finding a car on a lot.

I am looking for an app to locate a car Linda, there are a lot of car locator apps on Google play for android phones. "Find my car" is one I've heard of but have not used myself. Maybe itsrad will know.

I've never used a Find My Car app. I would just look in the app store for a free or cheap one with good ratings and try it out.

I use my panic alarm on my key fob! HTH! ETA: I use Google Maps as well on my I-Phone and I also have a car charger in my car at all times.

I use the google maps that is already on my android phone. That works really well. I agree with the car charger.
I don't bother with the Verizon Maps (also installed on my android already)because I believe you have to pay to use that. Google maps is very friendly and will readjust if you take different turns or if there is a detour
