Yes, normal feels good June. Enjoy the bubble bath. However, I am sure your unplanned vacation was very good for you. MJ – For you that is a very relaxing day! Glad Toots has some time off from the 2nd job. I agree, planning is key. Well, there you go Naomi. Take the food to your daughter! Ann – I too was fairly lazy yesterday. Have fun at bible study Bee. Lots of spectacular sunrises this morning. LaDonna – Hope you accomplish what you set out to do today. I joined WW in 2005. Reached goal in 2008. Stayed there until 2013. Put a little back. Went back to WW Dec 2015. Back to goal Feb 2016. I can’t do it without weekly WI, planning, tracking, weighing and measuring. I drifted when I switched to SFT and portion distortion, skipped meetings and “forgetfulness” crept in. I don’t mind changing a plan when necessary, but I have to start with one. It also helps that I have only myself to take care of. Although I managed to do it when Tony was alive quite successfully. My cold is improving. Finally!

LaDonna -- nice that chores are also activities;goodness knows rhere are plenty of those waiting for us everyday! I am 100% on board w/ this being a KOKO day plus a one meal at a time day. Hope you have a productive day of post-holiday cleaning. I think my DH got tired of hearing about LaDonna, my WWer friend who lives in SC. When we passed the exit for Edisto, I mentioned your anniversary trip. And then he got a REconstruction history lesson. WHen we saw an extremely small deer killed on the roadside, he had to hear how your DH hunts. I wondered if he could tell us what the typical size was. My DH had read that the deer were smaller, but neither of us expected such a big difference. Ann- we do this together and are stronger for it. Glad I was thought about! Makes me smile:) - Yes, the deer can be small here but there are some big ones as well. My hubby has hunted for so long he will only kill what he calls a "nice one" - I'll have to ask him this afternoon to be more weight specific about what he will/will not shoot. Our shooting season runs 8/15 until 1/1 so it is now officially over until 8/15/17. DH fishes a little and may go on a bird hunt or two but Deer hunting is his first love.

One of the things I want to work on is cooking more food and not eating out so much. I don't like spending a lot of time cooking so I want to make some meals that I can freeze. I plan to go and buy the stuff I need to make a large batch of turkey/bean chili and some bean/rice/chicken burritos which I will freeze. That way these will be available to eat on short notice.

Good Morning I started the day with a 30 minute walk, good breakfast and then a manicure. Now I am going to help DH with some wine cataloguing as he puts new bottles on the shelves, balance my checkbook and get bills ready for him. I pay them but he looks for the deposits and out of the ordinary expenses to reimburse the checkbook from other funds. It has worked for 43 years. I have butternut squash in the crock pot for soup this evening with a kale salad and roll. Today he picked, washed and cut kale, picked Meyer lemons I will share with a neighbor and he also put wood on the back patio because we should have rain all week. June, it is so good to have a normal day and normal routine. MJ, your day yesterday seemed super-relaxing to me because it is good to get errands done at a leisurely pace etc. Before he retired DH would shut off his phone when he came home and not turn it on until 8 a.m. the next day. If someone really needed him, they would call me. Most evening calls can wait. Naomi, I know people like your daughter whose refrigerator may have a few condiments and not much else. I try to clean mine Wednesday evenings before trash pick up day. I will see if the Oprah segment is on line. When I was recuperating from knee surgery I watched the morning show on line segments while I rode the exercise bike. Ann, it is good to have lazy days and after all, yesterday was a holiday for most people. Bee, I hope you avoid the snacks at Bible study. Susie, hope the work day goes by quickly. La Donna, have a good day. I walked at 6:40 when it was dark but some neighbors had Christmas decorations on outside. By the time I get home at 7:10 the sun has risen. There is heavy rain in the north part of the state so it was good to get the walk done. I tracked the past two days but between 10 pm and bedtime are my worst times. I just want everything. Each day I dispose of more food and DH has to come to terms that he really will not eat all of the cookies and candy. He is not a sweets fan as much as a salty food fan but he has a much harder time disposing of food than I do.

Today I went to my meeting and got the new materials. Now I need to go over them. I know I'll be tracking and I did workout this morning. I'm also drinking my liquids. Snow is holding off, so that is making me smile! Have a great day everyone.
