Karen, I don't get books on Pinterest, I just make boards to keep track of my books. There are plenty of books that I read that I can't remember the title a week later. I have found that if I look for a book on Pinterest, there is always a cover that I can pin onto my board. There are sometimes good lists on there too, so I get ideas. I keep a TBR list there too. I may have to look at that soon, seeing as I have a while to come up on all the holds I have, and need to find other things to read that are available, or it will be a long winter.
Karen & Marsha, I have no idea how spread apart Green Bay is, but where I live, if we have to go more than 10 or 15 minutes to get somewhere, other than Manhattan, we consider it far. I live in the county that is just east of what is technically the city line. Then there is another county on the island that is big because it includes the tails of the fish, which is where the Hamptons are, which most people have heard of. People from that county will come to ours, no big deal, but we say that when you tell most people to go there, (which is where my office is, right by the county line though), you might as well tell them to go to Portugal. Unless of course you are telling them to go to the Hamptons, then it's no big deal. Funny how people look at things. I agree with you about Kohl's, but they always have great sales. I just don't go there often enough, and I pass it all the time.
Jill, so sorry to hear about how your dad is feeling. It is a very tough adjustment, and for him to be having the health issues he does also makes it hard.
So far, so good with Underground RR. It's a short book, so should finish it within the next few days. Tomorrow I have mah jongg, but will work from home.
