What??? Really??? Oh my, we need more, I tell you I want more! LOL! It was a great episode but I have lots of questions, like what happened to Jaime? Surely, that's not the end of him. With GoT, you never know! ETA: 3 more episodes this season with the finale on August 27, which will be 81 minutes!

@sullicat, I've been in that situation once or twice. Since Ollie seemed to be out of danger, deferring any testing until you can go to his regular vet (if you deem it advisable) was a good decision.
ksbruns, linda72 - hugs to you both. Great news on your anniversaries.
This morning I had my meeting followed by a appointment with my Endocrinologist.
The scale reported a gain of 4# for the week. Yikes!
Interestingly, the doctor's office reported a gain of 4# since my visit 4 months ago. So, all said, I maintained pretty well for the four months. I told the doc I should have visited him LAST Monday!
My A1C dropped 7.1 since the last visit; it was 7.3 the visit before that and 7.5 three visits ago. So the continuous glucose monitor is helping me manage things better.
The doctor said that Medicare's rules have been all worked out and he thinks that I can now get Medicare to pay for the CGM. I just need to do manual testing 4x a day so there is a record of that to submit with the application. It would be nice to have the out-of-pocket drop to $50 a month instead of over $250/month. But I'll believe it when I see it.
I just finished lunch; I had an urge for Italian, so I picked up a Lean Cuisine Meat Lasagna. It hit the spot without breaking the calorie bank. I accompanied it with some green beans my neighbor grew...nice, fresh, tasty.
I also stocked up on Light & Fit Greek Yogurt. The Lemon Meringue Mousse flavor is one I can only get at one particular Safeway (which isn't where I was), so that will be another trip when I'm in that neighborhood.
That's all I have to report at this day's halftime.

Mike, great news on the A1C. I don't know what the sugar content is in the Light and Fit yogurt but I never cared for yogurt until I tried Siggi. It's pricey but the vanilla 0 fat has 9g of sugar & 15g of protein. It is super thick and not sweet but perfect when you add your own fruit. Hope the Medicare thing works out for monitor.

Hi everyone, Thanks for the hugs. Rick did bring me flowers today. Of course, I asked for them several times over the past month and my screaming on Saturday may have made him realize I was serious that I wanted some recognition. But they are very pretty and I will take them anyway I can get them

I tried the Siggi's but I keep going back to the Fage plain Greek yogurt.I have 1 container of the 0% with lunch and a snack with Fiber 1 cereal with the 2% in the evenings. ksbruns and linda72,Congrats on your anniversaries. We are blessed to have both of you. I had to look that one up.
Zero is new; it is a regular yogurt (not Greek) and it contains no artificial sweeteners. It has the same calories as the L&F Greek (80 per container) but 3g more sugar (10g vs. 7g).
