Good morning.
This thread is for anyone that has been away from WWs, had a gain, and is recommitting to the program. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. We love to use first names here, so tell us yours when you post.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes it is harder to keep it off and even if we fail, we keep trying, which is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, I count on talking to you guys each day and I am blessed to count you as friends! We welcome old and new friends, please come and join us.

Good Morning ROs...so glad so many of you found the site. Thanks to Jana for the info...boy we sure do have to keep on top of things to be able to chat and support one another - ha! We had a wonderful day yesterday, got a lot accomplished, and said goodbye to DD again. DH and I both cried thinking about her later. She had to make some flight changes due to a late connection she would have had at JFK that would have caused her to miss the flight to Spain, so she ended up flying from Richmond, to Boston, to Amsterdam, and then to Madrid - shhsh! I am guessing it was because of all the snow.
Heading to the gym in a few since I have missed several days, then taking DH to PT, then off to Spanish class and a Christmas celebration, then back to pick up DH, then home. Need to get my Spanish HW done sometime before class too - lol!
Hope everyone has a great day!

Well good grief! I'm having a hard time getting logged in. It seems I don't remember my password and am having a hard time figuring out how to reset it. This should not be this hard. Lol
I'll probabaly not get a full post done until I get home tonight. I think I saved the login & pw on my personal laptop (I hope). Ha!
Have a great day everyone! BBL (hopefully)

Hey all - I got registered again but it never made me put in a new password... so that's interesting.
Found out yesterday some news at work. We've known for a while that they are cutting my position from 4 people down to 2 for next year (so that change will go into effect this summer). We've been waiting for a couple of weeks to have meetings where we'd find out where we stand. I am not one of the 2 that will be cut. So I'm still hoping to find something new in this area but it feels nice that there's a safety net.
I'm still trying to focus on getting all my Christmas stuff done - finished cards last night but need to wrap. I am putting all the kids stuff in one big box per kid, but I always liked unwrapping things so I'm wrapping each individual item and then wrapping the box too. It's a lot of wrapping. My family does Christmas this weekend so it's the mad rush to get everything finished.
I hope everyone gets over here successfully. I see we are "copper members" - it made me laugh on the other page how some people were senior members or junior members.

Good afternoon.
Just getting the opportunity to check in. I need to go in and finish setting up my profile.
Waving to everyone.

Lora - I had the same issue yesterday. It said I had to put in a password and it wasn't what the old one was and then finally the old one worked and I didn't have to put in a new one or something. It was very confusing. Also, it looks to me like the messageboard address is the same for both so that is confusing also. When I click on the one I usually use, it comes up with burgundy in the background. However, I saved the new one in my Favorites and it comes up with a blue background...so I know that is the new one.
Amanda - is it your particular position they are keeping or you in particular? I guess it is a really compliment if they want to keep you.
Jana - hope all is going well at work today.
I did get to the gym for a half an hour bike ride. DH's PT was a little different today. He had to try to lift his legs to go left or right and catch and animal on a computer screen...like a video game - pretty cool.

Hello friends! So I really made it here this time Susie -thanks for starting us off. I didn't realize DD would be returning to Spain so soon. I thought she was going to stay through the holidays. I know you were sad to see her leave, but thrilled with every minute you spent together. Awesome that they are keeping DHs PT fun and interesting. Amanda - so glad to hear that your position is safe. I hope the cuts won't mean more work on you. You already work some pretty crazy hours. Jana - I hope your work day went well. I'm going to try again to change my password here - just in case I get logged out....Lol. I mean if the power goes off or something, I may never get logged back in. Lol Tonight is burrito night at my house. We haven't made burritos in a long time, so I'm looking forward to that. Okay, off to figure out this password thing. Wish me luck

Lora and Susie - short answer, I don't know if it's me or my position. So I'm an area director and there are 4 of us who oversee different parts of campus. I didn't even ask if it's me staying because it's me or me staying because they want this specific AD. It's hard to explain but we all do the same thing, just in different locations on campus. So this summer, our staff will all be professional (no more grad students) and the supervision workload will sort of double - but the idea is that the professionals can do more than the grads could handle.
It's been stressing me out for a while but I'm still not sure this is the right position for me so who knows what the future holds! Back to wrapping gifts for my niece and nephews!

Hi Everyone, Looking forward to the weekend already and Friday because I don't have extended care. Ugh, that is something we can all do without at my center. But that is the need so even though I really don't like doing it either that is what the job involves. If they won't do it ( other staff ) they can be let go. We had a meeting the other day with the new director and he was asking what could be better about working at this center and the issue of extended care came up. Staff don't get enough time to do their work and by the end of the day we are just beat and to have to deal with another 11/2 hours of kids after your regular kids leave is exhausting. Amanda, glad that your position didn't get cut and in the meantime you can still search for another position that might work out better. Tommorow the weather is supposed to be dry weather I heard so I may try to get to aqua zumba class. Have a good night.
