I could send you all tomatoes and zucchini. DH has the magic green thumb and we use drip irrigation. π
need lots of sun and water. I stubbed my already swollen toe going up the stairs barefoot last night. I got a Fitbit cloud badge for 8000 floors total but no sympathy. It is not as numb as it was when I went to sleep. Last days at the coast. 62 degrees now. Wish I could bottle it and take it home.

lmenglish It is fantastic that you are on the retirement wind-down! Although it took me a while to find my stride, I never wished I was still working, LOL. I have felt (really, ever since I started eating vegetables!) that what used to seem so awesome about a home-grown tomato is a memory; but I am willing to be wrong! I have been eating cherry tomatoes (which takes a bit of hunting) for several years, grape don't do it for me. linda72 You have asked about Brady....he has had two final interviews this week, so just one offer will be great! One is for a national sports magazine, the other newspaper, still feature writing, but not sports. It has been hard for me because he had such a great job, but he has always supported me, so after the initial shock I have been supportive. But, lighting candles for a contract, LOL. He thinks both jobs sound great and since he doesn't have an offer yet, I'm glad he is open. Little Miss is in her 9 month countdown; she is in position and almost 5 pounds, so everything seems positive. I'm ready to start talking to airlines about flexible fares!

Hi everyone, Last day of formal in-service. Yeah! It was painful listening to one of the advisers just read the powerpoint word for word.
Tomorrow I go into the classroom with my team and start working on the room. I've been in there already but it will be nice as a team.
Having some issues with depression, so I think I just need to see my kids and get into the normal routine. Paperwork, negative behaviors and all.

ksbruns, Ohh, Kathy, I know you're excited about Little Miss. I'll keep my fingers crossed for a September birthday. August babies have decisions to make about when to start school. Most schools use Sept. 1 cut off date so August babies would be the youngest. Many parents hold those kids back a year to give them more time to mature. However, girls tend to mature earlier anyway and I'm sure your DGD will be ready to go! LOL! Your collective "Grandparents On-Line" will be pacing with you until she arrives! Oh, and fingers crossed that Brady gets exactly the job he wants! Thanks for the update.

ksbruns- I'll send good vibes for a job and an easy birth for baby and mommy.
Will never know what it's like to be a grandma (not a mommy), but being an Aunt is awesome! I'm told it's very similar.
so excited for you!
