Happy Thursday friends!
Not such a great day yesterday, still fatigued and ended up sleeping over 10 hours between a post-work nap and the night. When you need it, you need it - better to obey that need than try to fight against it.
Daily Affirmation - my body tells me what it needs.
Fitness Report - rest day.
Health Goal - embrace the beauty of this day!
Spiritual Goal - enjoy some bird watching when I get home - nature inspires me.
Gratitude - such a beautiful day.

Good Day, Angels: The weather here is hot, sunny, and it feels like mid-August. Finally. I cannot believe its August 10 already !
Pat: Yes, we all need to listen to our bodies, don't we. If you're tired, rest. Isn't it funny - as humans - how we resist that? You'd never catch one of our dogs or cats resisting a nap (unless there was a bird or mouse involved). I hope this weekend allows you some R&R time to start to heal. Is your skin healed from your allergic reaction to the plant?
Cathy: I like your affirmation posted on Wednesday's thread! Very good. It sounds like your day with your friends was a very nice time. You're inspiring me to do something similar. On another note, I cannot imagine losing electricity in the hot temps you must get. Does it happen often?
Lisa: Color. LOL. Grey's here, too. Dark grey house. Red brick patio which, at the time, warmed nicely against the grey house but, its on the south side, with barely any shade from trees, so I need cool tones to cool it down during the Summer. I tend to lean to cool tones and butter-yellows anyway. Altho, I love the pop of an orange-red flower with a blue-purple flower. The blossoms to my Candy Corn plant occasionally drop to the ground and it really does look like candy corn! Its making me hungry for candy corn.
Carol: I'm so glad to hear you still have your garden path cleared. Its like your own little treasure. I did manage to do my ten+ minutes of quiet time in the garden yesterday. I'm working at feeding my Fitbit but I do have to make a conscious effort to get up from the desk and move! Yesterday, I was 800 steps short of my goal but too tired to stay up and walk the hall.

Daily Affirmation: I choose what is right for me: my food, my work choices, my lifestyle, my companions, how I spend my time.
Fitness Report: Lots of yoga stretching of shoulders/back; gardening, and 7700 steps. All in a day's work.
Fitness Goal: 9300 steps and more stretches (shoulder, upper back, neck)
Health goal: When possible, plan my day's menus in advance.
Spiritual Goal: Time to meditate and some time to catch up with Eckhart, again. (He's been laying on my coffee table.)
Gratitude: For electricity! (Thank you for the reminder, Cathy!)

Friday here - hubby said we should go to Byblos for lunch. I told him that would be fine BUT we have salmon he bought yesterday that probably should be cooked. He said maybe tomorrow we can go out. We will see.
Daily Affirmation: Actions speak louder than words...
Fitness Goal or report: Still getting over cramps in calves from housekeeping? Go figure - some stretching today?
Health Goal: veggies at every meal...
Gratitude: Electricity is fixed - hooray
