The Mind☯Body☯Spirit connection emphasis is creating balance, wholeness, and coherence in our lives. It acknowledges that how we think, what we feel, and what we believe create the life we live and the world around us.
Let's get started! We'll post:
Daily Affirmation Fitness Goal or rReport Health Goal Spiritual Goal Gratitude

Good Day, Angels: Happy Saturday! Hope its a sunny, mild day for you.
Lisa: Thank you for the plant list. I know bunnies will eat the Liatris if its the shorter variety; I wonder if the taller has a chance? In Fall, I'll be adding perennials to my 'Butterfly Sanctuary'. Because of bunnies, deer, and the adjacent Black Walnut tree (juglone), my choices are rather limited. The only perennials that have survived (besides wildflowers and weeds) from last Fall are the Monarda and Baptisia plants. If you have any other thoughts, let me know. Of course, I'd like to add some Asclepius (Milkweed).
Cathy: Our friends here often come up with uplifting books to read. Maybe someone will chime in with a recommendation? One that comes to mind, which I have not finished, is "Petals of the Lotus" (Elise Cantrell).
The scale didn't budge again this morning. Altho I know the scale does not tell the whole story, I still feel more "rewarded" when that number decreases. Its too soon to see a change in clothing. These are the hard days/weeks of the program.
Daily Affirmation: Seek Joy; don't wait for it to find me. (Petals of the Lotus) Fitness Goal: Move! Dance! Lift! Health Goal: Be CEO of my health; Stay on program (regardless of the number on the scale) Spiritual Goal: Find some quiet moments of peace and joy among my posies. Gratitude: For what I have now.

Suzanne, You can do this!!! You are doing this!!! I am keeping positive thoughts for you. Aren't we WW strange, if the scale doesn't move downward we think we should go off program. I have gone back to weighing everyday and have done so for the last 31 days. I also record it on a calendar. This is helping to get very relaxed about the number I am writing down. My reason for doing this is that it reminds me to stay OP and it works! Your daily affirmation is wonderful--proactivity applied to happiness.
Affirmation: It's all OK.
H & F Goal: Functional fitness if I can ever get these blankity blankity Kitchen items done on my to do list. Can't wait to get outside.
Spiritual goal: Floating as free as a butterfly through reality from this moment on.
Gratitude: Solitude
Happy day!
Onward>>>>

Michelle: Thank you for the supportive words and encouragement. Fortunately, I know the drill and wouldn't quit; but it sure is annoying that we don't have an alternate way to measure in this day and age. I have body measurements from a while back and fit of clothes is a good sign but I only just hopped back on the wagon 3 weeks ago so its a little soon to notice marked differences in clothes and (tape) measurements, for me anyway. I will keep plugging away, for sure. I can do this! Tha 'ol scale lies!
