Good morning ladies.
This thread is for anyone that has been away from WWs, had a gain, and is recommitting to the program. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. We love to use first names here, so tell us yours when you post.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes it is harder to keep it off and even if we fail, we keep trying, which is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, I count on talking to you guys each day and I am blessed to count you as friends.

Good last morning from Cayman. It's a gorgeous morning again here, seems hotter than usual because there is no breeze. I'm sure one will pick up later. The sun just rose over the ocean and I love hearing the waves and seeing the beach from my deck. We leave here at 12:30 for the trip home and I hear there will be gale force winds later today in NY. Bummer because I fly into a tiny airport from Philadelphia (Stewart Airport in Newburgh, Robin) on a really small plane. Hope both that my flight isn't cancelled and also that it's not horribly bumpy. Hate the bumps.
No major plans today except for travel. There is a nice beach bar here in my complex and my DS and I are planning to buy salads to eat at the airport - the airport here is primitive in the extreme so I know enough not to rely on food options there. We'll eat dinner in Philadelphia - the airport there has a number of options. This will be the first year I get there and am not binging - I don't even know what food offerings there are because usually I'm filling up on sweets. Hope I continue to stay as strong as I'm feeling right now. I really think the Beck book is helping me because there have been LOTS of stresses here that would have derailed me in the past (family drama).
We took some photos yesterday to commemorate the trip and it is hard for me to see how much bigger I am than in past years. I had to make sure those pix didn't throw me because they were depressing. My whole family is thin to very thin, and although I'm not obese, I am definitely the largest person in the pictures. So happy to have this group to write to - these feelings make me feel isolated.
Anyway, will post again when I return. Have a great day all.

Good morning everyone and welcome Pam!
Pam great job on the 25 lbs!
Andi enjoy your last day of warm weather and sunshine. I know you will miss the sound of the ocean when you get home. I hope you have safe travels home.
I had a pretty sleepless night last night. I have a lot of my mind. So far it has not sabotaged my eating, thank goodness. Still trying to eat bland to help the inflammation in my stomach. Everything is still making me achy.
Printed out the 10K training program yesterday so that DH and I can start working toward that.
Hope you all have a great day.

Jana, can you post the link to the 10K training program? You said it's for walking, right? I ask because I'd love the challenge of a program but don't run and have no interest in trying. Thanks!
And sorry Pam, I didn't notice that you had posted your name.

Good Morning ROs...I was sooo hungry last night (came downstairs and got 8 peanuts and a pickle -ha), but I still lost --- yeah---hope I can stay on this roll now. For some reason, I did not feel sleepy last night. I usually fall asleep watching an 8:00 show. Heading to the gym soon with DH, then picking up DM and taking her for a pedicure (it has been awhile...hope they let her feet soak a long time before they start), DSister is meeting me at DM's place when I bring her back so we can exchange gifts. Then I am going to a bakery where I have a groupon for a dozen cupcakes (they have GF)...don't worry... I will FREEZE them - ha!
Hi Pam - you are right...you did it once, you can do it again.
Andi - yeah, we both are feeling strong right now.
Jana - how long does it usually take for you to get your stomach calmed back down after bad eating? Yeah for not letting the stresses derail you! Sounds like the ROs and holding it together right now. Isn't it funny that when one is having a hard time several of us are and when one is "hanging tough" several are doing that too??
OK...DH is waiting for me...later

Welcome Pam, I think we all have done that, so we know what you are going through, and I am right along with you.
Andi, I know how those pictures can look, I wasn't so happy with the last few I saw of myself, also the way I looked the other day in the mirror in a department store with jeans on that were a little tight, not a pretty sight.
Susie, 8 peanuts and a pickle was not too bad, except for the salt, but if it didn't bother you, then why not. Sounds like something you would snack on when you were pregnant! Funny thought.
Jana, is there any way they would allow it if you and your DH would be guarantors? Not sure if that would be helpful, or if you would want to. It's a responsibility, but at least rent doesn't show up on your credit report. I was actually thinking that could be an issue, because you mentioned that about your DP in the past. Always thinking like a loan officer.
I took a while to fall asleep last night, then overslept. I saw it was 8:20, and DH had an 8:40 doctor's appointment, so we certainly couldn't stay in bed. His blood pressure was high in the hospital, and he is on meds, so he is being monitored.

Taking a break to check in.
Andi I can email you the 10K training program. It is in a PDF file. If you want I THINK I can send it FB message if not if you will send me your email via FB message I will email it to you. The program we use is for walking. We will not be running it. Also it is on a calendar for 2016 but it gives you the routine and you can easily change it to this year (that is what I did)
Susie usually a couple of days of eating kind of a bland diet helps my stomach. I really over did it this time. This was the longest time I had gone eating junk and having alcohol so I am thinking it might take a little longer this time. I think the alcohol aggravates it more than the food does. I am completely avoiding all alcohol for the next few weeks until I feel better.
Robin we can't be guarantors for my parents on this particular apartment because it is an income based apartment and DH and I make too much $ and then they would not qualify to live there at all :/ DM called their attorney yesterday and they are seeing what they can do to speed the process up. Right now I just have to hope that once the process is over something will be available, if not we go from there.

Hello friends, It was a busy day at work. Everything is a little hectic now that it seems the snow for Friday night and Saturday is probably actually going to happen. Pam - welcome to our little family. We're all in the same boat. I spent 2 years at goal and slowly added back 30 lbs. of the 65 that I'd lost. We know how to lose weight, we've all proven that, keeping it off is what we need to practice, right? :-) Great job with the 25 lbs. lost! Andi - we all know that we are our own biggest critics, and we see ourselves in a different light than everyone else sees us. That being said, I thought you FB pic was beautiful. You looked so happy and relaxed, and I thought you looked GREAT. Jana - I hope your stomach settles soon. I hope your parents are able to speed up their process. I know there is so much to do, but once some things get settled and start falling into place, I know it will take so much off your mind and heart. ((hugs)) Susie - Lol. peanuts and pickles are an interesting combo. Sounds like you were craving a little saltiness? I hope DM enjoyed the pedi. I'm in desperate need myself, and I'm trying to wait until Monday. I'm off all next week and hoping to take my DMIL for one as well (that's if the weather is good enough for them to drive over from Alabama). She goes once to a place by her house, but I can't wait to take her to my place. My place offers so much more pampering. It's a 2 hour experince and worth every second and every penny. Robin - HA! DH and I overslept this morning also. I'm ususally up be 5 at the latest, and this morning rolled over and saw that it was 5:30. Yikes! We were rushing! I hope they're getting DHs BP figured out. I'm on BP meds as well, since my mid 20s. Blasted genetics!

I suppose I fit in this group! I've joined 3 times I think. Twice it really helped (had children between), the last time I did in online and didn't put my heart into it and fell off track pretty quickly. It was a learning curve and I didn't see it through. I'm starting fresh in the morning - signed up online tonight!
