Hello! THanks for starting us Amy!
Grumble! I posted yesterday, a longish post too, but it apparently never made it! Just about Saturday's 5K, perfect weather, Susan won her age group again, and I had slowest time ever for a 5K but still it was much better than I expected, under 49 minutes. I didn't think I get under an hour, but I was able to do some jogging, 30 seconds at a time, and that helped.
Brenda, WTG with the walking on the towpath! I wish I had someone to walk with!
Mo, wish you and Brenda could have joined us Saturday, probably the best condition we've had for the race. Although I was worried the day when it was hot and super humid. But a "cold" front came through overnight to give us perfect conditions and a very pretty sky.
A couple people at work had solar glasses so a lot of people went outside to watch the solar eclipse. We had about 70% totality. Those glasses work really well, it was SO cool!
