Summer is here. Put on sun tan lotion and get out. So let's join together and encourage and cheer each other on with our fitness goals! Warm weather is here and we want to be in shape to enjoy it!
WELCOME EVERYONE anytime and yes you can walk/jog/run or combo, cycling, spinning, swimming, aerobic classes, elliptical machine, yoga, pilates, strength train and core work too!
Each week you set and post your own attainable mileage/minutes goal and strive to achieve it. Saturday thru Friday is our fitness week with Saturday morning weigh-ins (WI). WIs are encouraged but optional.11 There is no judgement here!
This challenge runs from March June 21 to September 22.

Amy, you are still working it! Good for you.
Debbie, the Eclipse was so cool. A friend gave me glasses and I watched from my deck. Congrats to Susan for coming in first in her age group! Tell her I said hello. Plus good for you for doing the 5K. It's a starting point for your time getting better (although I think it was good. I would probably be over an hour). That's great the weather was good.

I am thinking about stopping my monthly pass and going to a meeting once a month. I am just wasting my $ right now. I've maintained around the current weight (up/down a few) for almost a year.

Brenda, that would be great to watch it from your deck!
Brenda, I never want to encourage someone to miss meetings, but what you're saying does make sense to me. Maybe if you notice weight starting an upward trend then you can go back to the monthly pass.
My sister has lost 50 pounds since May using a form of intermittent fasting. She had way over a hundred pounds to lose so I'm really happy for her. She's really close to onederland so I bought her a gift certificate for a full body massage to give to her when she breaks 200 -which could/will be pretty soon. I'm going to get serious about following the same diet (she bought me the book) after labor day (i'll have that weekend to do any cooking I might need -which actually isn't much because of the fasting). She's fasting a lot but doing it smartly by working with a counselor and having her "vital statistics" monitored. In spite of the high healthy fat diet she's following when she isn't fasting, her cholesterol is way, way down and well as her triglycerides and her blood pressure. Also her glucose levels are really good (however that's defined which I forget, lol). It's a tough diet to follow though.

6 omlets 6 slices of Heathy use 6 tablespoons of peanut butter. carrots and cottage cheese. 1950 calories fir ince I dot feel so hungry.
