Good morning.
This thread is for anyone that has been away from WWs, had a gain, and is recommitting to the program. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. We love to use first names here, so tell us yours when you post.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes it is harder to keep it off and even if we fail, we keep trying, which is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, I count on talking to you guys each day and I am blessed to count you as friends.

Good morning everyone.
I have got to find a way to find some motivation. I am finally cooking dinner at home again. I still have not gone to the gym and I am being so lazy at work. I am determined to get caught up today.
I am supposed to go to driving school this weekend so I really hope we do NOT get the snow they are predicting. I am planning on calling the driving school today and see what the back up plan is :/ I hate waiting to the last minute to do things.
Other than busy at work - I really do not have a whole lot going on right now. Parents have not heard back from their attorney so no word on that yet. Today is my consultation with PS so I will let you know later this evening or tomorrow how that goes. I have a really good insurance plan so if I can get anything covered by insurance, I should be able to do it with this plan, so fingers crossed. At the same time I am trying to not get my hopes up to much.
I did overeat last night - but I tracked it and while I do feel bad about it - I am letting it go and moving on and not letting it affect the rest of my week. In the past once I saw that negative red # in my calories I would have thrown the rest of it out the window and just had super meltdown binge that lasted days. Not going to let that happen this time.
Sending everyone positive healthy vibes. Please send me motivation vibes back if you have any

Good morning everyone -
Well I had to face it - I'm back at work. I took ten days off - that doesn't include weekends. I can't believe it's over :-( I think back to the things I wanted to get done during break... some were accomplished but others, not so much. I was glad to pull almost a large trash bag full of clothes out of my closet the other day. That and two boxes I'd been throwing stuff in for a while got taken to Goodwill the other day. It's shocking to me how tired you can be when you're just lying around. I slept in yesterday morning and then fell asleep sitting up on my couch a couple hours after waking up. I have stopped drinking caffeine in the morning (coffee or soda) so that could be part of it. I'm sure I'll adjust.
I'm trying to start back tracking and planning and everything on Saturday after I weigh in. I'm not going crazy the next couple of days. I made some hungry girl pulled chicken yesterday and have some fruit and veggies in the fridge. I feel pretty disoriented with being back at work - just trying to remember where I left off and pick back up.
Happy Thursday and welcome to our new posters!!!

The weather is extremely cold here, -21 this morning and I am having a little cabin fever. I need to get out of the house for a while after it warms up a bit. I baked bread yesterday and it was all I could do to avoid eating too much of that.

Good morning Jana and Amanda and all to follow. I'm back home after the usual odyssey that involves travel to my little airport. Short version is we were delayed 2 hours (after an already long scheduled 3 hour layover in Philly), got home at 12:30 AM. My DNeighbor picked us up and I did the short drive home since she's uncomfortable driving that late at night. Quite a shock to my system to be back in the cold weather! I know I won't get much sympathy here, lol.
I did a home WI and lost 3 lbs while I was away. Of course pleased but had hoped it was more because I'd had the 5 lb gain the 2 weeks before and was wishing the whole thing would come off in time for WI on Saturday. Plus I managed my food really well while away so anticipated a big reward. Definitely a mindset I need to free myself of because it's not helpful.
Oh, Jana, I am so like you, when I would see a negative number or if I did some serious overeating, I would chuck the whole thing and binge my head off for weeks. I so don't want to do that anymore. I think being able to pull ourselves back from the edge of the cliff after making a mistake, regardless of the size of the mistake, is really key, don't you? And it sounds like you're totally in the right mindset to do it. Getting back on track is the hardest thing to do, in my opinion. Sending you lots of strength and determination today.
Amanda, I'm also feeling disoriented, but for me I don't go back to work until Monday. I'm having trouble even doing a shopping list, trying to figure out what I will cook the next few days, knowing I will have to shop again for the week on Sunday. Hopefully we'll both get it together today, and I'll have the next shock to get through on Monday. I will check my emails today so I'm not completely blindsided and maybe talk to my deputy as well so I'm caught up.
Have a great day all. I will definitely bbl.

Grammy, I think you are Pam, nice to see you back. Gail, it looks like we have a few new people joining us. Now home baked bread, not sure how I would resist that.
I know that someone else posted new yesterday, but can't remember who.
Welcome back Andie. The way I would like at it is that I had an 8 lb loss, the 3 lbs I lost, plus the 5 lbs I would have gained if I wasn't watching myself. Vacations for me are by far the most difficult.
Amanda, isn't that always the way, only getting some of our things done. However 1 big bag of clothes is great. I have a closet that has assorted stuff that is my DH's, I think I am going to give up on him ever wearing some of them again, and will just pack up and donate.
Jana, good luck with the PS. I hope they can make a good case to collect some from your insurance.
Lora, I know you said you get snow every 10 years or so, and I guess that was the snow that was in Atlanta when my son was there. I can't believe it is going to be 10 years in May since he graduated.
I had to roust myself out of bed this morning (of course never at 5 am) because of a networking meeting. I really want to try to get some new business for the year, and I doubt this networking group is going to do it for me, but I like the people. I am going to reach out to others and set up meetings.

Hi everyone. My name is Emily and I have done WW off and on for years. I lose every time I am on it but I always get off track then gain it back. I am the heaviest I have ever been but ready to get going. Went back to WW yesterday so I am excited to be back on track. Glad to have found these forums. Went looking for the old ones and ended up here. Can't wait to get to know all of you.
Goal is to make it past April this year. It is a joke at work that I do WW from January - April every year. That's my bday month and for some reason that's when it all begins to end.

I have gotten quite a bit accomplished at work this morning. I think like Andi and Amanda I was maybe disoriented from not working much over the past couple of weeks. I got organized this morning and just started muddling through. I still have stuff to do but I don't feel so behind now.
I ate my lunch that I packed and I am having the burn and achiness now. I really hope this goes away soon. Good news I have already had 34 oz of water for today. Yahoo!
Andi glad you got back safe and sound! 3lbs on vacation is great! Be proud of that # and proud that you did not gain. I came really close last night to NOT tracking the amount I went over - but then I decided to go ahead and do it. I am not fooling anyone and the scale will show it if I track it or not, right?
Amanda good job with the caffeine! I know it is something you have been trying to do for awhile. I hope you are not to busy at work and are able to get back into the swing of things relatively easy.
Oh Gail, fresh baked bread would have done me in. Hope it warms up enough that you can get out today. Where are you from that the temps are that low?
Pam good luck on your WI tomorrow. Please let us know how you did! Where are you from?
Robin good luck with the networking. I am a bit awkward around people I do not know well so I would be horrible at networking. Sorry you had to get up so early.
Emily - hi and welcome back to WW. I hope you will post with us often so we get to know you.
To all the new posters - we start a new thread each morning to post under. If one has not been started just copy of the beginning paragraph and go ahead and get us started - subject is generally Repeat Offenders and whatever the day of the week is. I hope you all find us a safe place to come and get support.

Hi ROs - been to the gym, PT with DH, and Costco. Home now with everything put away and am on "hold" with the insurance company trying to straighten something else out. DNeighbors are bringing dinner this evening and I hope I get a chance to lie down for a bit before they come...however, DH wants to take a shower before they come and that is pretty involved.
I am barely holding it together with my eating so Jana I know what you mean. You CAN do this....can't wait to hear with the Dr says.
Amanda - I guess it could be no caffeine. Yeah for getting rid of those clothes.
gailruu - brrrr 21 below is just bitter
gramy - good luck at WI
Andi - ha....you are right about not getting much sympathy here after your vacation in the tropics...too bad we weren't there with you! Wow... I think any loss while on vacation is awesome
Waving to all the new posters

Happy Thursday friends!
It was a very busy day at work. Not crazy hectic, just lots of catching up on administrative stuff. It's good to be home, that's for sure. I've had a good food day today, after a not so good one yesterday. Our weather forecast seems to be changing every hour, but right now we're predicted to get 2 - 4 inches of snow Friday evening into Saturday afternoon. I know that doesn't seem like a lot to many of you, but it's a whole lot for Atlanta. I'm just glad that it's hitting towards the weekend, and maybe will clear up before everybody has to go back to work on Monday. Well, everybody except me, I'm taking a 2016 carryover vacation and am scheduled off all of next week. Yay!! I also worked over a little today, so if the opportunity presents itself, it will be easier for me to leave early tomorrow and get on the road before the madness begins
I'm pretty sure if we get any snow at all, it will cancel my plans for company. I know DMIL and DFIL will definitely NOT drive if there is even the slightest chance of a single slick spot on the roads, and I wouldn't want them to. I stopped by the grocery store on the way home to pick up a couple of things in case we do get stuck in the house for a couple of days. It was a mad house, typical for the situation around here I bought a eye of round roast and small bag of fingerling potatoes, carrots, onions etc. I know the weather will have me craving warm, comfort food and a roast with the trimmings sounds good to me.
Well, I need to go figure out what we're having for supper. Hoping that everyone is having a good day.

Lora, believe me, it gets crazy in the stores around here to if they predict snow. The shelves get cleared of bread and milk, you would think no one has any food in their house. We are also getting changing predictions every hour. First it was going to be snow in the morning Saturday and Sunday, then nothing, now snow overnight tonight into tomorrow morning. Who knows. So glad you are going to have the week off next week, that sure is nice.
Jana, glad you got a lot accomplished at work.
Susie, so nice of your neighbors to bring in dinner for you.
Emily and Bev, welcome. Just like WW gets a mad rush in the beginning of the year, along with the gyms, I guess our message boards will do the same.
Maybe all our newbies can tell us a little bit about themselves too.

So here is the low down on the PS visit today. We talked and while I still had clothes on he was like, oh you only need a breast lift you have so much volume, I was like, ummm no that's the bra............. so he discussed all the different procedures and how each one is done and what he could do. He left the room for me to get undressed and came back with his nurse - he was like, yeah it was the bra- LMAO.
If he does a breast reduction, I will be left flat chested and that is all the insurance would cover (if they would cover that). The lift with some small implants just to give me shape is what he would recommend.
As far as my stomach - he can do just skin removal - which is what the insurance will cover (if they cover anything) but I would still have my muffin top - to get the best results he recommends a full tummy tuck and i would pay the difference.
It is an outpatient surgery - both surgeries together would last about 5 hours. Total cost for both is right at 15K - with insurance covering the skin removal part (if they will cover it) then it would bring the price down to about 10K. I could do the surgeries separately - BUT there is approx. 5K in fees that would have to be paid per surgery - so you actually would have to pay more to do them separately.
They are submitting everything to my insurance company - he thinks it is iffy - my stomach flap doesn't hang low enough...........and I have no other medical reasons for the surgery.
I am in wait and see mode but already coming to terms with the fact that this probably is not going to happen this year. At least now I know what the approximate cost would be and I know what to work toward. In the mean time I will continue to try to reach my goal weight.
One good thing (sort of, I suppose) he thinks I have a good 20 lbs of skin. How can insurance cover weight loss surgery but not the skin issues afterward? I am ok with it - it is pretty much what I was expecting going into it but was hoping for the best. It is a little frustrating to lose so much weight and still really dislike the way your body looks and know that I am carrying around 20 lbs of skin that I can't do much about.

Jana, glad you got all your questions answered and know where you stand. I can understand them paying for the WL surgery because they consider the added weight a health risk. I always wondered about the cost of these things. I am now thankful that I think the $50 bra I bought helps the look.
