Good morning Cathy! Those Pantry Moths... Ugh! I've had them. One year they came back 3 times. I finally invested in lots of sizes of Mason Jars and one piece lids. I'll never go back. At least if I bring something home that was previously infected, they can't infect the rest of the pantry, and they are easy to see in glass jars. Good luck!
affirmation - Happiness is a state of mind I can control health goal - pack a healthy lunch for work today fitness goal - changing out seasonal pots and doing a big maintenence job today. Urban Gardening, lots of functional fitness. gratitude - functional fitness. I would be in sad shape without it.

Gaggggh! Pantry moths! I had an infestation from rice out of the bulk bins at the organic store. I thought I was bringing home health; YUK instead I brought home a kitchen full of squirming "wealth." A couple of days after shopping, I went in the kitchen and saw all these things hanging from the ceiling - then I found the source and they had gotten into places you wouldn't think a worm could fit. I scoured that cupboard twice and they kept coming back until, I hate to admit it, I bleached them and sprayed all the cracks with Raid. Needless to say we didn't put food in there for weeks, and now all those low cost bulk bins are on the NO BUY list. We had employee appreciation day at work and some of us went over to the buffet. I have so many food limitations, so stuck with the plain tossed salad, a small piece of grilled chicken, and a big ol' pile of mashed potatoes. So gooooood! Daily Affirmation - at least potatoes are a natural food. Ha ha Fitness Report - a gentler, stress relieving workout - some Classical Stretch, some yin yoga and a 10 minute guided meditation. Health Goal - eat light tonight. Spiritual Goal - met - meditated with my Insight timer this morning. Gratitude - I'm an appreciated employee and blessed to love my job. ♥ Waves to all! Make it a great day!

Good Evening, friends:
Cathy: I am very happy to have you as part of the group as well. So nice to “see you” each day. Thank you for getting us going again each morning and adding some color (that is to say, colorful emojis) to our thread. Yes, I think my evenings with friends (Girls Nite In) will be like your Wednesday gatherings with your friends. I hope so! Your gatherings sound like so much fun!
Lisa: I am so sorry that your family has dispersed around the country. I kind-of know how you feel. I have a very small family (family of origin and married-into family). No children, no nieces or nephews. I am so envious of those with big families; its something I never had and always wanted, since I was a little girl - to be surrounded by family. In recent years, getting thru holidays has been especially difficult. I’ve come to the realization that I need to work at creating my own family (of friends). That is a work in progress.
Michelle: It sounds like you’re having so much fun with Claire De Lune. It makes me happy just thinking about the fun.
Pat: Mashed Potatoes? Yummmm. I hope your car repairs are minimal. And I am glad you are safe.
Hi, Carol!
Daily Affirmation: Happiness is a state of mind I can control (thanks, Lisa) Fitness report: no report Health Goal: Start each day here and create manageable goals for myself Spiritual Goal: Find the best in each season and go with the flow. Gratitude: For intuition.

Suzanne, Are you wearing your Fitbit. I wear mine everyday. Sure is helpful to see just how much is getting done step wise. So far today 12,788--will finish up around 14,000.
Cathy, Great spiritual goal!
Lisa, I thought you were talking about changing your pots in your Kitchen. Too funny!
Pat, Love your avatar
Cathy, How is the exercise going--you are de' bomb!
Busy day for me. More functional fitness outside laddering those pine trees. In my next life I am not going to buy so many trees, or at least not the kind that need to be laddered. Used my new electric saw. Scary as I first saw a little scorpion then I saw a gigantic one crawling up the tree trunk. Yikes! Kept my hat on for sure in case it fell from the tree and landed on me. But what if it landed on my neck or.... Maybe I will go into writing horror film scripts. That stuff about those moths would also make a good one. Anybody see that great classic horror film "Attack of the Tomatoes"?

Scorpians... Yikes! I realized when I stayed with my friend in AZ recently I would not like to garden in the dessert. We went out at night with blacklights and they were all over the place! My friend got stung, too. Just to let you all know if you get Frankensence Essential Oil and put it on, it helps to counteract the sting. She tried it and said it really helped. She has been stung several times in her years living there.
