The Mind👢Body👟Spirit👠 connection emphasis is creating balance, wholeness, and coherence in our lives. It acknowledges that how we think, what we feel, and what we believe create the life we live and the world around us.
Let's get started! We'll post: Daily Affirmation Fitness Goal or report Health Goal Spiritual Goal Gratitude
These boots are made for walking...and so are tennis shoes...perhaps not the pumps BUT they made me think I should get some walking in this weekend and also made me wonder what kind of shoes you will be wearing this weekend - party shoes, beach shoes, walking shoes???
Second Question - perhaps for Sunday - do you make a menu or prepare for the week ahead?

Yesterday hubby and I had lunch at a pizza place and I found myself eating less than the last time I was there...fine with me Went grocery shopping afterward and then spent some time on the back patio with the cats reading and relaxing. They did NOT want to come in till late and I heard jackals in the distance so worried until they opted to come in for the night since one is still a kitten.
As for shoes...mine will probably be 👡 (sandals) unless I decide to go for a 🚶♀️(walk) then 👟 will be put on. Hubby had a sidewalk put in around the house where there is not cement or gravel driveway already
An affirmations I aspire to:
I lead by example
I am breaking old habits and creating new successful ones. Daily Affirmation: I am going to enjoy this weekend and all it has in store for me Fitness Goal or report: Get out and walk is a goal and report is that I did some cleaning yesterday Health Goal: Moderation in all things with a move toward stronger healthy habits day by day Spiritual Goal: spend time outside contemplating the beauty around me Gratitude: grateful for each day that is given to me.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

You all are so uplifting today and I thank you for that. I love the affirmations and it reminds me of why I am so drawn to this thread. As I read each one, I see that they all fit together like a puzzle.[/span][/div] I deflect negative energy. I lead by example.
I am going to enjoy this weekend and all it has in store for me. [/ul][/ul] Just perfect. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Shoes: It'll be warm slippers for me; its quite cool here. If I get outside to garden, my garden clogs or flip-flops. I am definitely a comfort-shoe person and, when appropriate, love bare feet.
Meal-planning: I make sure I have all the staples: salad-fixings (or soup, now that the weather has cooled down); hot-cereal; smoothie-ingredients, fresh fruit. Hot cereal and salads are the extent of my food-prep for any meal. Daily Affirmation: see above. Fitness Goal: Hoping to get some house-clean-up done; perhaps to some music; I can dance while I dust! Health Goal: Be aware of my good habits and pat myself on the back for maintaining them. Spiritual Goal: Embrace the change of the seasons and all that Mother Nature provides me. Gratitude: For the 4 great affirmations above. Really has me thinking.
Hope to see everyone here at some point this weekend. Suzanne

Affirmation: Time to relax for a while. H & F Goal: Extreme country gardening today. 9,505 steps and it is just noon. Spiritual goal: Don't worry be happy. Gratitude: Puppy is beyond cute! Shoes: My hiking boots for the extreme country gardening--clearing an extremely difficult part of the fire break that goes around the property. Four hours with DH, seems like we might have got 1/5 of that area done. Very tough going,I love!!! functional fitness. Then my Chacos for the rest of the day. Those are like hiking boots but less so. Hmmm.... The terrain is not something a person would ever wear flip flops in. Sometimes I wear some very comfy dress lace up shoes around the house--a treat for me. Resting right now. Very hot in the mid 90s outside. The sun at this elevation is such a factor, almost a mile high. Menus: I plan my food using a WW focus plus following that massive list of dietary restrictions. It's all good! keeps me below goal (five pounds at last WI) and having the habit of eating healthy pays off since not doing so affects my health. Onward to consumption of my rice protein powder drink. >>>>>>>>>>>

Good Morning!
Michelle, I wish I could spend one day Extreme Country Gardening with you! Sounds really interesting. Are you using chain saws?
Suzanne, I am a barefoot girl myself. Not planning on retiring the flip flops anytime soon. I did answer your question about fall container plants, but both days my responses were eaten by the cyber monster. My plant palette for fall is ornamental grasses, ornamental kale, fall colored heucheras, ivy, creeping jenny, mums, pansies, ornamental peppers, rudbeckia, echinacea, carex and calibrichoa. I also add sticks, curly willow, and some seedheads from perennials.
We had Bocce BBQ last night for our game group. Bocce got rained out, so we played a game indoors, but had such a great time. I have to say it's my all time favorite thing to do with friends. Our girlpower team is awesome! We had a surprise visitor as well, my GF's daughter brought over her 6mo old son. Sooooo cute! So I got my baby fix in, too!
Cathy, how long have you lived in Lebanon? Do you skype your grandkids weekly?

Lisa: the pots/planters sound gorgeous! Are these for your clients or your own home? I love indoor games, too. Its been over 2-1/2 years since I've played anything (since my sister passed away). We're going to play some games on the next Girls Night. I can't wait. It'll be bittersweet because I know memories of those best times with my sister will come flooding back. She and I would laugh until we cried. But the activity, for me, will be good. And I hope to keep the Girls/game Nite going regularly.
Cathy: Enjoy your time with the grandkids. Skype truly is remarkable.

Hello everyone! I'm so happy - just passed one of my CEU tests that I've failed eight times. So glad that is off my plate - This is the third weekend I've been hunched over those tests.
I will try to catch up tomorrow, need to catch up on what's left of the day and make dinner.
Daily Affirmation - I can do what I set my mind to.
Fitness Report - Margaret for back, deltoids, abs, outer thighs, and stretching with a strap.
Health Goal - didn't meet it - major cheat day. BUT I was free lifetime at my meeting.
Spiritual Goal - enjoy time with family, and I did.
Gratitude - seeing the fam.
