Suze,I wasn't complaining b/c others didn't like the color.Believe me there are several people who don't like it.It could be more golden and it would prob be better.People on other threads I frequent aren't happy about it either.I realize you were just making an observation.I hope you are able to get a nap and feel better soon.

Good morning everyone.
I am am happy to report that I seem to be back to normal. Thank Goodness! I was sick all night at work last night. All I had to eat yesterday was a half can of chicken noodle soup and half a sleeve of crackers. I got home and slept a solid 8 hours and felt much better upon awakening. I even got in some treadmill time.
We are about to get some wicked cold weather. Will be 15 degrees by morning and there will be 15mph winds. Brrrrrr!!!!

SUZE .... Get in your jammies. Put on some slippers or thick socks. Have some dinner and some hot tea or hot chocolate. Get some rest.
I have the Salvation Army envelope right next to me since that was going to be my ELF goal TOO! But what I hate about most of these charities is, you send them money when they ask for THX or Christmas donations. You send money. And then every dang week until the holidays you get a letter saying "thanks for your donation. We could use more moolah" OK not in so many words. I want to say "Stop using the money for printing and mailing!"
And SUZE you are going to LOVE that spaghetti squash pizza thing. I told Bob on the phone that I was making chicken mole and he was "What about that thing from last night?"
BECKY it's very GOOD that Kenneth let you know how he appreciated your company. Some people do appreciate things like that but never TELL you. And I got my first LOUSY pineapple. It's been so good this year. I got one at Sprouts (since it's noted for its produce I thought it would be great). Kind of blah and not that juicy. But I'll get another one at Kroger later in the week.
CONNIE I'm glad you're feeling so much better. But how miserable to be sick at work. It's bad enough being sick at HOME but anyplace else makes it 10x's worse.
We're going to be 72 the next few days, followed by a high of 34 w/ wind chill of 24. Crazy volatile weather.
I took Petey for a walk and he spied his white chihuahua friend halfway up the block and TOOK OFF. I was jogging as fast as I could (which isn't very fast) and he was all COME ON MOM. He ran after Georgie all over their yard, then we went inside for a visit and he was trotting all over their house and jumped up on the sofa as soon as Cindy sat down. He licked her face, got down, ran around, jumped up on my seat and went to sleep. But he was INCREDIBLY energetic. It's so weird. He has such an AWFUL weekend, then I cancel surgery and all of a sudden he's a PUPPY again. I swear I've been played big time.

Connie,I'm glad you are feeling so much better.WTG on the sleep and treadmill.
Celeste,I am not in a habit of eating pineapple so with the sweetness it tasted like a treat.They also had honey dew melon(my fave),cantaloupe(too hard and not good),strawberries and red grapes.They also had some kind of cream dip with it but I didn't try it.Kenneth is so good about telling me when he appreciates something like that.So tonight I made a big batch of chili beans.I asked him if he thought he was special or something since I made breakfast and dinner.LOL.I always cook breakfast now but not usually dinner but he is special and I have enjoyed being able to do things like that now that I am able to.I'm sorry you got a bad pineapple.
It's not supposed to get out of the 60's here tomorrow.Saturday it's supposed to get up to 78 and then late Sat night we get the big arctic front.I think Austin may see its first freeze Mon and Tues.
Celeste,I think you have been played big time.LOL.I am glad Petey is feeling better this week though.Just don't tell him about Monday.
Suze,I hope you are feeling better.I hope you were able to take a nap.
Angie and Steph,How was school today?
Mary,Have you been able to play golf this week?Are you getting this frigid weather this weekend?
I can hear Angie laughing at us sissy Texans talking about frigid weather when she has already had snow.
