katy Mae is perfect age this year and full of excitement
santa is owner of gas/convenient store where DH eats breakfast every morning
so he asked if papa Dale had been good
sintia n madison headed to Dfw area Friday to jerry world, state football playoffs
school she graduated from is in state championship game
off to soak up some Vicks from vaporizer

Connie,I'm sorry you felt so bad and I hate you have to go in b/c there's nobody to replace you.Feel better soon.
Celeste,I agree.It's hard to think of an ELFG every day but I do try to make someone smile every day.I'm glad Petey still feels like going for walks.
Louise,You are blessed to have such a sweet DD to bring you food from time to time.
Angie,You may be right.I guess I will ELF Kenneth tomorrow if my tummy behaves.Do we need to call you Angela now.LOL!Cara looks so sweet in that dress.Congrats on having a new great niece.She's a small thing.I'm glad she and Mom are doing fine.I will be getting a new great nephew in February.I think he will be my 5th great nephew and i have 4 great niece's.One of the ladies couldn't stand the blue b/c she was having a migraine for 2 days.It should be a more golden gold now according to Deb does WW.
Mary,Nice to see you posting again.Deb is just trying to make as many people happy as possible right now.

LOUISE I haven't had asparagus in a while. I noticed it at the store and almost bought it. I should have.
ANGIE too funny on the driveway and DH thinking someone else did it. THAT WAS A NICE ELF for him! WHen I ELF'd Bob by putting the dishes away he opened the dishwasher, stared at it for a few seconds and then asked "Did you put the dishes away?" NOOOOO someone broke in the house and madly unloaded the dishwasher.
Congrats on your grandniece.
And I agree about this color. Kind of baby poo mustardy yellow/brown. YUCK.

SANDY I hope you avoid that upper respiratory crud that's going around EVERYWHERE. In fact that's a good reminder to me to start using my inhaler as my Doc tols me to. People that get this crud are having a terrible time getting rid of it. Take your vitamin C, drink lots of fluids and be good to yourself. You don't want to be laid up for Christmas.
BECKY I suffer from migraines and I know lots of people who do. I've never heard of BLUE causing or exacerbating migraines. Oh well. But this is an URGLY color. But in the grand scheme of things I guess the color of the border isn't that big of a deal.
Petey must have taken amphetamines tonight. First he didn't even want to go on his 9PM walk but I finally got him out there and not only was it a long walk but a FAST one. He trotted most of the way when he wasn't sniffing the grass and fire hydrants. I couldn't keep up with him! And he's eating quite well too. His good days are SO good, but his bad days are HORRIBLE. Crazy guy.
OK he seems to want my seat. he walked up and started licking the top of my foot and I think that means I have to move. He has me so well trained. Love that little dogster in case no one noticed! haha

OH and I made this for dinner and Bob LOVED LOVED LOVED it. He's not a HUGE fan of spaghetti squash but in this recipe he was. It was quite good I have to say.
Almost 5 Ingredient Pizza Spaghetti Pie
Prep time
:25 min
Cook time
:1 hour
Serves: 3-4
Ingredients
1 large spaghetti squash
1 pound italian sausage
½ yellow onion, diced
1 cup pizza sauce or spaghetti sauce (no sugar added)
1 teaspoon dried basil
and 1 tsp oregano
salt and pepper, to taste
3 eggs, whisked
(optional: add anything you like with pizza: veggies, basil, even cheese if you eat it. I added chopped marinated artichoke hearts. )
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Cut spaghetti squash in half lengthwise. Place spaghetti squash cut side down on a baking sheet and bake for 45 to 60 minutes or until the skin of the squash gives when you press on it. Then reduce oven heat to 350 degrees.
Once squash is done cooking, remove threads and place in an 8x8 greased baking dish.
(I used 9x9 and glad I did...my spag. squash was kind of big)
Place a large skillet over medium heat. Add italian sausage (remove from casing) and onion. Cook until pink no longer remains in the sausage and it is broken up into pieces.
Add pizza sauce, dried basil, oregano and salt and pepper to the pan and mix well.
Add sausage mixture to the 8x8 dish and mix well with spaghetti squash threads.
Lastly, add whisked eggs to the baking dish and mix everything together until you can no longer see the eggs.
Place in oven and bake for 1 hour or until the top of the mixture forms a slight crust that doesn't give when you press on it in the middle of the dish.
It took mine 1 hour 15 min.
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
I highly recommend this recipe.

Of course, I'm up at 3 AM. I don't have issues with sleeping, but I had caffine before bed & am stressed over the next few days.

I just realized I did an elf thing yesterday. I went to dd's house for any packages that might have been delivered. They had been.
My house is closet for youngest dgd to come to for lunch, so when oldest cooks and has leftovers it makes it real easy for me to get them.
we got a good rain last night. We needed it.

At the hair shop getting hair done. Slept like crud, my stomach feels like it's going to explode (kept me up gurgling all night). TMI I know. Tire is low. Sniffling and headache.

Celeste,I used to have migraines and blue never bothered me and I never heard of it affecting migraines before either.A few people complained about this color and Rad said Deb was still playing with colors.She just has so much to do right now.LOL on Petey taking amphetamines and you having to move b/c he wants your seat.Kit Kat is on my recliner now and is wanting attention.I had musical pets during the night/early morning hours.I had Scooter twice and Kit Kat once laying on me and keeping me warm.
Steph,I'm glad you found us.I usually have one pet or the other waking me up by 3:00 either wanting food or wanting outside.I can usually get more sleep before 5:30 or 6:00 thank goodness.I don't drink caffeine past dinner anymore.It helps a little in falling asleep but not always staying asleep.It's going to be cold Sunday.
I decided I will go with Kenneth today so that will be my ELFG to him.He loves it when I go with him.Hopefully the sale won't be as long as the last one and I hope to get a walk in either there or after we get back.
Sandy,Good for you already getting in your w/o and drinking lots of fluids.I hope you are feeling better today.
Suze,If enough people let Deb does WW know I'm sure she would play around with different colors but it's hard to make everyone happy at the same time esp if she doesn't know enough people don't like it.She has been working on this board as fast as much and as fast as she possibly can.I hope your day improves a lot.You can post here in any mood you are in.We all understand.

I messaged Deb does WW about the colors b/c y'all aren't the only ones who don't like the colors.I'm not real crazy about it either but she's been so busy it will just take her time to get around to everything.She is still in the process of getting everyone notified that she can.

SUZE I agree on the puke. Almost EXACTLY the color of mucus and bile Petey tends to do all over my carpet.
Are you on antibiotics? Maybe that's the tummy issue.
BECKY I love your elf goal. And yeah re Deb. This color SUCKS but the fact that we had a relatively seamless move to this forum MORE than makes up for it and her work IS greatly appreciated.
But funny, I'm watching Rachel Rae and this woman and RR are talking about bad Christmas gifts. And this woman (some singer) said she got this UGLY MUSTARD YELLOW shirt and how she's not into mustard yellow. So there's another one. haha
I've got chicken mole in the crock pot. Not sure what I'll serve it with, I guess I could make a run to the store and get some zucchini or something. I may make some "PALEO tortillas" ... or not. LOL

CELESTE lol on RR. I don't think there are a lot of people who can successfully wear this color.
I'm home and need a nap. Just not enough sleep on a restless stomach. I worked on a project that xame up as soon as I walked in the door...I didn't even have my coat off. With my supvr, pulled together all the stats needed for a 1:30 meeting and was told to vamoose. (sp?)
So I did.

Celeste,They had like a holiday spread at the auction.Kenneth loved the chili and cornbread but I had 2 turkey roll type things(they rolled up about 2-3 thin slices of turkey),I skipped the cheese b/c of IBS and had different kinds of fruit.They had fresh pineapple and it was so good.Kenneth knows I get bored at these things but he likes the company so he kept urging me to go for a walk while the old cow was sold.So I went for a good 30 min walk and was able to get in all my steps.He even thanked me for going and told me how happy he was I went along.The old cow didn't bring near enough money but she's headed for the packing plant anyway.How would you make Paleo tortillas?LOL.How is Petey doing today.Scooter is outside enjoying life on an old recliner in the yard.
Deb knows her work is appreciated but this morning nobody seemed to like the color and finally told them to tell her what color would work.Now some people are evidently getting used to it so it will stay I guess.I haven't talked to her since this morning.The woman with the migraines likes this compared to the blue so go figure.She still has the migraine and isn't on that much right now anyway.
