megk31, I wasn't sure anybody knew her. She posts regularly, and she needs to register. We don't delete or ban very often, but refusing to register has already caused several others to be banned.

I am kind of anxious to see how the North Korea situation comes to an end. I have a feeling someone (like a Navy seal) may end up taking out Kim Jung Un. I would really like to see the US start shooting down missiles launched from NK.
The NFL situation is getting out of control. I think the only thing that will reign in these idiots is for the fans to hit them in the pocketbook and boycott their games. Really doesn't affect me much since I don't watch football or any other sport anyway.
This coming weekend will be my high school class of '67 50th reunion. I'm sort of looking forward to it although I wasn't particularly popular in high school other than my participation as organist for my rock 'n' roll band, "Spectra". I have a keyboard but hardly ever touch it anymore since my nice organ bit the dust and I can't find another one. It also happens that our semi-annual church conference is also this weekend - something has to give, but since the conference will be on the internet I can watch it later.

Oh, I had no idea it was required to register. I thought that was what the guest option was.
I don't want to give my email because of this statement in terms of use.
"By registering with the Website, your thereby consent to receive electronic communications, including email and personal messages from other Website members."
Bye all.

Susie, just create a separate email using a free email service.

I might do that.
I get enough email already, I just hate spam and advertisements. I suppose if I create another one, I can just disregard it, unless someone on the board tells me they sent an email.
thanks.

I am not a foot ball fan and do not go or watch on TV. These players make huge amounts of money and yet they complain and cannot honor the American flag or stand up for the National Anthem. Hard working people spend their money to go and watch them play. These players have no idea what the flag represents. If I were a fan spending money for tickets I would stay home. When people go to see a game they want to relax and enjoy themselves. They don't want to watch these over paid players insult those who have fought for the freedom we enjoy in this country.

Gary, I agree that the rhino republicans are holding up bills in the Senate. The democrats did it when Harry Reid ran the show. The American people deserve better regardless of who is in charge of bring up bills for a vote. All bills passed by the congress deserve an up or down vote.
Gary did you go to your class reunion? I would love to meet up with some of my old class mates. A lot of them have died.

The class reunion is this Friday and Saturday. I got both days off but not sure I will go to all the events. I too have no interest or understanding of football so I don't plan to go to the homecoming game. Kind of wish I had something to boycott to let those spoiled brats know we do NOT approve of their actions. In the meantime I am getting sick and tired of all the discussion about it. I think if people would ignore them, just not watch them or pay for anything NFL they might get the message.
Susie, we hope you stick around. I have never received an uninvited e-mail from anyone on this site.

Just one more post. I am going to get signed in, will be back later. I was more worried about advertisements, or folks from other boards sending insulting emails. But, mostly advertisements.

Susie, I've never seen an ad generated by this site in my email. I use an email address I specifically set up for here, so I can be certain of that.
If you are concerned about other members emailing you, after you register click on Profile in the menu bar. Then click on Edit on the top right. You will able to tweak your privacy settings so that the only ones who can see your email address are Deb & I (the mods). I promise you we will never misuse that privilege. You can also tweak notifications settings, etc.

Hi Susie, I have never got unwanted e-mail from anyone on these boards so I don't think you should worry about it. Some people do exchange e-mail addresses but you don't have to. I hope you will continue to post.
Gary, Now that you have lost weight you should look very nice at your reunion. Have fun.

Well, this world is getting weirder by the day:
An Italian woman has married herself in a ceremony complete with white dress, three-layer wedding cake, bridesmaids and 70 guests.
"I firmly believe that each of us must first of all love ourselves," said Laura Mesi, a 40-year-old fitness trainer. "You can have a fairytale even without the prince." The ceremony carries no legal weight.
But Ms Mesi is part of a growing trend for self-marriage - dubbed "sologamy" - in countries around the world.

Gary, just another nut. I wonder if she got a lot of wedding presents. Do you think this will catch on? I hope not. Hope you have fun this weekend at the reunion.
