Winter is here!! We have 73 days till Spring March 20 ,2017. This is time enough to start to develop new goals and approaches for goals with exercise and healthy eating. Whether gym at home or outside we can exercise and see the benefits by Spring. Tracking our healthy eating helps us lose weight.
WELCOME EVERYONE anytime and yes you can walk/jog/run or combo, cycling, spinning, swimming, aerobic classes, elliptical machine, yoga, pilates, strength train and core work too!
Each week you Can set and post your own attainable mileage/minutes goal and strive to achieve it. Saturday thru Friday is our fitness week with Saturday morning weigh-ins (WI). WIs are encouraged but optional. There is no judgement here!

Good morning. I go to my first Zumba class today. It is described as low impact and the transitions of body are gentle. a great cardio workout. So that is 4 days a week. Once I learn all the dances. I have Zumba Gold that I an do the other 3 days. i was so bored at the treadmill. And could only do 24 minutes yesterday. The clases are 60 minutes. There were 2 other days where one its very hard zumba high intensity and saturday they said

I did 30 minutes on the gazelle this morning. Also did 30 minutes after work yesterday as well as in the morning. Yesterday I also ordered a new toy! I'll let you all know how it goes. It's a mini elliptical. It's just the foot portion so you can do it seated while watching TV or while working at your desk. Supposedly you can do it standing too! But I'd be sure there was something near by to hold on to once my foot is strong enough. I'm hoping it as quiet as most reviewers said it was so maybe I could use it at work. It was only $80 and had great reviews so what the heck? It'd be great if I could use it at work!

I need to get caught up on what I've missed. I joined a fitbit challenge (via Connect) and I have met my 10K goal two days in a row. I love challenges like that.
