My last message was November 28 and it is still visible: it said not to be discouraged and that I may see a loss the next week. I am Lifetime, always weigh in 7-8 pounds below goal! That week I was up .4 from the week before but still way below goal! Since then no messages even though my weight went back down .4. I'm annoyed that there are no new messages. I get blue dots every day, have tracked every day for months, no messages anymore. And I still have to see that ridiculous November 28 message. Clara, you can swipe and delete on an iPhone...

I get the messages on my app also and they annoy me as well. Sometimes they really are assinine just as stated. I keep getting bugged to check out CONNECT; if I wanted to do that I would, sheesh! Then the emails to connect with Oprah, blah, blah, blah. Just let me track and if something of value comes up let me know; like new recipes , otherwise I am happy to use these boards and track on their app.

If you were starting out as a new member this month they probably would not be annoying and could possibly be encouraging. They don't know who we are as individuals so it is group love. How would it encourage a new member to be told, in a week where they had a loss of over a pound, that it wasn't the loss that they wanted? That reinforces the newbie idea that moderate losses are disappointing. It's the roll of the dice. Some are accurate and others aren't. Not sure any of the powers that be know how to make them all accurate. I am sure they are working on it.

For $20 a month I don't think it is unreasonable to expect a sophisticated online experience, not a "roll of the dice." The powers that be know exactly how to make this right. They need to hire and pay talented software engineers to get a handle on the problem. They need to put a corporate priority on the problem. They need to listen to their users - ask for their input and then respond to it. This particular issue is very simple computer coding. The simplest that exists. If.. then ...else.... You learn it the first month in a programming course. If Loss is > 0 then "you're doing great" else if loss = 0 then "you maintained this week. Make sure you are tracking everything you eat, and keep going" else "these probably aren't the results you expected. Make sure you are tracking and if you need more guidance, please utilize the chat feature" WWCS ... please put a check in the mail ASAP.

What itsrad said. How flippin' hard is it to have a certain set of responses for the people who have trackers set to maintaining versus losing? This is absolutely Basic programming, like 1st semester stuff.

I figure they are using BASIC, COBOL or PL/I. I gotz the skillz.

My messages on the app always mention checking out "Connect". I continue to get emails to an old email account that I changed 4 years ago. Don't know how they use it since it mentions that I am subscribed to the newer email address that I added 4 years ago. And, I received an email this past Wednesday from my meetings team thanking me for coming to the meeting and being at goal again. Problem is....I didn't go to the Wednesday meeting!! Someone is impersonating me!

It's fine if you're OK being treated as a roll of the dice by WW (I'm not, but everyone has different attitudes toward customer service). But my response was directed at your assertion that a message about disappointment would be "encouraging" to new members who had lost weight. Rather than encouraging new members I think it instead serves to reinforce bad thinking patterns that a lot of new members likely have.

Is there a way to disable the messages? I get them too, but haven't figured out a way to disable.

WW really needs to clear up their mailing databases. I've checked with WW and they have my correct email in the system. But, I only get some email at that address. I continue to receive mail at an address I deleted 4 years ago. I check that account once a month and it's full of WW emails.
