NO EXCUSES
* This is a daily thread for those who want to live by the philosophy that you CAN be ON PLAN EVERY DAY, whether you are doing SFT or counting points for ALL foods! * You aren't doing this to brag; you are doing it for YOU! Because YOU are WORTH IT and because WW has made this totally DOABLE! * WW gives you a lot of freedom and a LOT of options that make it quite possible to live this lifestyle EVERY DAY. * You know that this philosophy keeps you on the straight and narrow. If you give yourself an excuse to go off plan today, there will ALWAYS be another excuse tomorrow. * SO, there are NO EXCUSES!!! * This is your LIFESTYLE and it is a lifestyle you enjoy and you live it daily. * Hopefully your participation here will not only inspire YOU but will inspire OTHERS too! YES, you CAN be ON PROGRAM EVERY DAY.

7. If youβre trying to lose weight, eat foods with high water content. Fruits and vegetables and dishes made with them (such as stews and smoothies), as well as soups, can help you cut down on calories and still feel satisfied.

They say volume is more important than calories and I tend to believe it. If I have soup and salad I don't have as much room for the main course.

Agreed. I love my smoothies too because I feel I get my water in, not that it replaces water but I'm better hydrated. And there are fruits in the smoothie too. I love soups and stews and enjoy them all year long, even during the summer. I could live on them. My smoothies are usually more than 1 quart of liquid so I get pretty full!
We have snow today. Walked to my WW meeting before it started but by the time I walked the dog it was really coming down but fine & dry. Now it's accumulating. So at least I have a decent amount of steps in. Too cold for an icy smoothie this morning!

I totally agree about water based soups. Zero point or low soups do make my pangs go away. Water especially cold water just doesn't seem to relax my tummy much like warm fluids. In the summer watermelon can help me too I think.
Also veggies like squash with lots of fluid.
