Winter is here!! We have 70 days till Spring March 20 ,2017. This is time enough to start to develop new goals and approaches for goals with exercise and healthy eating. Whether gym at home or outside we can exercise and see the benefits by Spring. Tracking our healthy eating helps us lose weight.
WELCOME EVERYONE anytime and yes you can walk/jog/run or combo, cycling, spinning, swimming, aerobic classes, elliptical machine, yoga, pilates, strength train and core work too!
Each week you Can set and post your own attainable mileage/minutes goal and strive to achieve it. Saturday thru Friday is our fitness week with Saturday morning weigh-ins (WI). WIs are encouraged but optional. There is no judgement here!

Challenges this week: Sun -go the extra mile! Mon -OP day Tues -work those arms! Wed -journal it Thurs -at least 6 servings water Fri -at least 5 servings fruits&veggies Sat -work those abs

Deb Last August I wA INVITED BY WW ONLINE TO PAY 15.05 PER MONTH for 12 months and get a fitbit right away. I paid a little extra up front the fit bit blaze Deb is good because you can see everything on the watch head. Well worth it. i have an online account with a different name for the fitbit account on ww online. have strobe it was astarobin

Amy thanks for the start. I love my fitbit HR2
Debbie I got mine on cycber Monday from Amazon. The one I got is usually $149. I can't remember what I paid for mine, but it was about a $30.00 difference I think. I love it. I can tell who is calling (if they are listed on my phone). I can read text (well most of it anyway). Amy has the fancy one that I thought about. This is my 3rd upgrade.
Debbie I did get my second one an HR1 off of Groupon. It would tell me lots of stuff, but this one is better.
AND yes I am going to a 3rd day of 10K!!

Good morning. I am down -1.2 this week for this challenge. What I decided for my stats here is to keep track of my loss for the week in my notebook at home but to post my highest weight and then my current weight. That way, no matter what I gain in a week I will always remember how I started out. I am looking at some sort of fitbit too.

Wow I just looked at the fitbit website and the one that I have is now $179.00. It is called Charge 2
I know other places sell them. I think even HSN or QVC. Some places will take accept coupons for them (like Kohls).

i gqianed 6 pounds in one day thought the latter is WW I ate a pizza an pastry January 6. Back on track today. I am going to go to WW twice a week.

I ordered a pilates machine and stand and blue ray player to play the instructional dvds on my television. I faxed the receipt t to the trust to send a check once they receive the check they will send the order. I will need help to put the stand together and pilates machine.mostly assembled needs some. I just think i will have room. The will allow me to tone and stretch. I think 20 to 30 minutes 3 times a week on the days when I do not do zumba. I hope I find aa good program on the DVD. There are 7. And its has a rebounder that a Fitbit measures for aerobic. I saw it on QVC. which I get even though I do not have cable. the pilates has 4 cords. I also ordered a bose am fm radio to get Chicago progressive talk. station.

i am 62. I need to tone and be fit. the Zumba is good for aerobics. But the pilates will tone my arms and abs. The rebounder is good for aerobics too. with the least stress. It ay take a month to get it and set it up with the player to the tv to play it. I have trouble learning the many machines at the gym so never do it. I will experiment looking at the dvds to find the best for me. upper body and core are what I need.
