NO EXCUSES
* This is a daily thread for those who want to live by the philosophy that you CAN be ON PLAN EVERY DAY, whether you are doing SFT or counting points for ALL foods! * You aren't doing this to brag; you are doing it for YOU! Because YOU are WORTH IT and because WW has made this totally DOABLE! * WW gives you a lot of freedom and a LOT of options that make it quite possible to live this lifestyle EVERY DAY. * You know that this philosophy keeps you on the straight and narrow. If you give yourself an excuse to go off plan today, there will ALWAYS be another excuse tomorrow. * SO, there are NO EXCUSES!!! * This is your LIFESTYLE and it is a lifestyle you enjoy and you live it daily. * Hopefully your participation here will not only inspire YOU but will inspire OTHERS too! YES, you CAN be ON PROGRAM EVERY DAY.

Season of Giving
Just eleven more days until Christmas! Feeling time-pressed to finish your shopping? Then consider gifts to help others and yourself stay fit. What would encourage the people on your list to get 60 minutes of moderate physical activity every day?
Here are some ideas: • A fitness gift certificate.Consider:fitness club membership, sports equipment store, community fitness class.(Wrap up a certificate for yourself, too!) • Active “toys” For kids, in-line or ice skates, balls, bicycle, sled For teens and adults, exercise gadget (heart-rate monitor, pedometer),jazzy water bottle, gym equipment, exercise videos For pets (and you),a new toy or walking leash For everyone, safety equipment (helmets, reflectors for clothing) • A winter family adventure.Rent snowshoes or cross-country skis to enjoy in a nearby park. Or give the whole family just one big gift: a ski trip or a getaway for warm-weather activity. • Time. By yourself or as a family, share time with someone else this season.Volunteer at a homeless shelter or a retirement center. Shovel snow for elderly neighbors, take out their garbage cans, run their errands.Help collect toys for needy kids.

Great ideas! And I like your new photo, Cathy. It's great! I like giving gifts you can experience, and use.

I'm way behind. I realized this morning that Christmas is in 10 days.
Update: After church this morning I got an offer to go to LL Bean's. I needed to get something there and it was nice not to have to drive. So I'm much further along than I was yesterday. I got a pancake breakfast kit for my DM. I'm going to be the chef.
