Louise, really hope you start to feel better.
Mary, how are you today?
Sandy, you just reminded me that MIL is turning 80 this year. Need to do something for her.
Suze, after you mentioned it, I looked into getting this one. So far, I've loved it. Ice stays in not just all day, but overnight (forgot to dump it one night). I have small straws b/c I prefer to drink my water that way in the tumbler. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01L0OJKL4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
DH took gf home. I'm calling it a night. Actually have everything ready for tomorrow. We have testing all week during the morning & I get to wear jeans this week.
Tracked = yes Water = yes Exercise = no bike, but up & down the stairs about 10 times just this afternoon
Have a great Monday!

Steph,I think it's a good idea to talk with DH about choices. You need the family's support too. It's good to not have stress all the time. When are you and the girls going to Dallas?I know it's arthritis in my knee but I don't know is it's the "m" word for sure.My NP thinks I need the rooster shot but I will have to see Thurs if they think I'm a candidate or not first.
Suze,The other stuff can wait till you feel better.I also post on the Beck Diet Solution and they address a lot of the negative and all or nothing thinking. It's all cognitive behavior therapy. On Sundays the thread is always give credit and gratitude. It's not usually very hard to think of the positive things we have done in the last week. The no caffeine headache is why I don't give up caffeine.I have 2-3 cups of hot tea to start the morning off and it has caffeine plus my ice tea at either lunch or dinner or both.If you ordered the Baysea 30 oz tumbler you will love it.I normally only have to fill it up twice a day sometimes a 3rd time if it's warmer.Since it's been colder today I don't know if I will get the 2nd one drank before bedtime but I finished my first one at least.
Sandy,We all have those days we have more calories or points than others. They are okay once in awhile.Good for you on planning Monday's meals and exercise already.Happy Birthday to your DM.
The pork tenderloin with the carrots and onions in the crock pot was so good.Actually it was more like pulled pork but still good.I also had a salad with it.I don't normally like to eat at DQ but we had some credit left on our gift card so we went there for lunch. For a limited time they are having baked potato skins with cheese and bacon bits for less than $2.00.It's more like a snack really b/c it's 2 small skins but it was really good.I wasn't that hungry at lunch and it really hit the spot.I will go to Curves in the morning and then we need to go to Bastrop to Best Buy.Kenneth's 2nd go phone has done got up and went.I think it's the charger but it will be just as cheap to buy a new phone for him.

Steph,I just looked up that link on Amazon and it said product currently unavailable and they don't know when it will be back in stock. You must have gotten a good one or it was awfully popular.I really like the Baysea brand one myself.
Tracked-yes water-still working on it exercise-yes but not 10,000 steps(there's always tomorrow).

Sunday stats
Tracked - yes Water - yes Exercise - yes
At Fat Patty's I ordered a Cobb salad and French Onion soup. The salad did have grilled bread with it, which I ate. Before that I had about 250 or 300 calories for the day. So I felt alright about it.
Tonight I stay up all night. Monday will likely be a higher calorie day for me. I'll just try to make the best choices I can.

I feel more HUMAN than I have felt in quite awhile. Went to Wally, washed 2 loads of clothes, 1 load of dishes (other will wait until tomorrow), and made some more chicken and dumplings, Will try to play golf in the morning.

but but but CONNIE if he makes you "forget you have feet" too soon after he does your toes, doesn't that mess up the polish??? OOOOOOOHHHHH I get it... then you have to start all over again!!
That quarter for the cart STILL cheese me off. And I rarely remember to bring bags with me. But at least you can now charge it. The choices there are BEYOND limited but I'm surprised at the prices and quality. At my Kroger, Pink Lady apples are $2.99/pound. At Aldi it's 3# for $3.79!! Now they're smaller apples but they're every bit as juicy and tasty and not all old and wrinkly (like me).
STEPH congrats on the loss. And good thought about grace. Kind of like a compliment or even a favor.... easier to give sometimes than to accept.
TERRY you ARE hitting the exercise hard. good for you.
I don't have the NINJA cooker. I have the original Ninja Blender and LOVE THE HECK out of it. But I got a new Instant Pot. You can saute in it before you put it on slow cooker function. you can pressure cook, make rice, make yogurt (as IF!!) and several other functions. Like 6 or 7. I use it ALL the time now and today I did my picadillo using the saute function and then the pressure cooker function. Got mine on Amazon and got 1 for each of my kids and they love it. My DD said it was "life changing!" hahaha
ANGIE your home improvements are coming right along. Be careful b/c if you spend too much you'll have to work another YEAR! hahaha.... I crack me up.
BECKY all I can say is when I put Vicks on MY feet it never DOES make it to my cough center. THen again the woman who told me about that also SWEARS that if you put a bar of soap under your bed sheets while you sleep, it will alleviate leg cramps. RIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT.
When I asked my doc about it she laughed as she'd heard about it and she said to me (SO FUNNY) "If you think it helps your cough to put it on your feet... you just keep right on putting it on your feet." All the while she was shaking her head. I had trouble extending my leg w/ my meniscus. So I'd be walking along and go to take a step and the leg wouldn't extend all the way and I almost landed on my ass several times.
I didn't give Petey any bacon today but I make 4 pieces/day. I have 3 and he has 1 minus the fat, but not today. He isn't eating very much today at all but if I offer him cheese or boiled chicken breast he'll kind of eat it. I'm not pushing it at this point. I just don't want his tummy to be completely empty though, b/c then he vomits bile and blood.
AND BECKY AND LOUISE add me as one who has NO pain relief whatsoever from Tramadol. In fact it give me a headache. Tramadol is very commonly ordered for canines for pain control but my vet, who WILL order it, said recently the studies have shown that it's not very affective for dogs either.
SUZE, I'm not a big caffeine drinker. Maybe 2 cups of coffee in the AM and that's it for the day. But the other day I just wasn't in the mood and wound up w/ a headache for the afternoon and evening. I didn't put 2 and 2 together until you just mentioned it.
As for the trainer and the locker, whatever makes it easier will give you fewer excuses. I mean my gym is practically on top of my house so I have NO excuses except.... I'm a lazy so and so and I embrace it.
SANDY Happy b/day to your mom! You know Petey had his b/day last week, and he's now officially 81! A 7 year old whippet is like an 81 year old person.
MARY glad you're feeling human again. Don't know about you but tomorrow it's supposed to be 72 here. No wonder we're all getting sick.
OK SOOOOO SOMEONE on here (remaining nameless COUGHconnieCOUGH) has been HARRASSING me about my F/B (slight exaggeration perhaps?). Anyway we had a devil of a time getting the FLEX off my FB account and then getting it to read the Alta. In fact all the Alta would show in the window was "fitbit.com/setup" no matter what Bob or I did. Funny but he gets SOOOO impatient when it's HIS computer devices that cause issues, but he was VERY patient setting my my FB. It took HOURS using my phone, his computer and my computer. AGAIN I like to complain about him, but he can be SO very nice at times.
OK I'm getting ready for bed and my book (first book of The Outlander series). Night all.

Wow, MARY! Human enough to play golf is pretty darn good!
We are supposed to get a regular heat wave tomorrow. 39 whole degrees!
I took a nap this evening, but I'm still not accomplishing all I thought I would while staying up. Instead I'm watching movies.
Tramadol works for me. Took away back pain with NO side effects. Made me an instant fan.

It was Penny's birthday last week also. I cannot believe she is five and that I have had her three years.
sandy - when you eat low carb, you tend to eat more calories. When I look at the recipes I almost stroke.

CONNIE I'm glad you're one of the tramadol success stories. I mean it MUST work for someone or why do they have it on the market. At first I thought my headache was coincidence. And I'll buy 2 coincidences but the 3rd time I realized, the pain in my back was less b/c my headache was so severe I was throwing up and didn't think about my back. My dogs didn't seem to have any success with it. It make them groggy and uncomfortable. I remember Teresa from the old thread didn't seem to get much relief from it either. For ME (can only speak for myself) taking 3 ibuprofen works better.
LOUISE happy b/day to PENNY! I remember when MA passed And then you got Penny and first she was having post spaying bleeding which was scary and then her heartworm issues. But it seems what started out w/ some rocky health had turned into a pretty healthy companion. And OMG yes when I look at some of the calories on Paleo I cringe. I haven't lost any weight on Paleo but I'm amazed that I haven't gained. For me it's a lot to do w/ the very generous use of fats such as ghee, coconut, EVOO, and avocado oil. Also full fat coconut milk, the skin on the chicken and they want you to use grass fed beef so for instance pretty much all the ground beef I've found is 85/15.
BUT!! FOOD FIND!!! For those of us on low carb diets, Hungry Girl had this in her email. Riced veggies such as cauliflower, broccoli and sweet potatoes. No rice involved.
www.greengiant.com/new-products/#riced-veggies
Petey had cheese at 5:30Am and got up at 10, walked and started w/ the lip licking and gulping. So I got a small amount of canned food down him (along w/ nausea meds) and I'm hoping to head off the vomiting. I figure a 3 day course of Cerenia (besides I run out of Cerenia tomorrow). Oh another way I know he's queasy, I usually hide his pills in the morning canned dog food (only time he gets canned dogfood). He would heat the little balls of food that had NO pills but left the ones w/ the pills behind. He wouldn't even touch them no matter what I did (first served cold, then I heated them), so i had to pill him w/ the Cerenia and he and I BOTH hate that.
I'm sleeping badly lately. I fall asleep OK but can't stay asleep. That usually means that I need my pellets replaced so I looked and YUP. THey say 3-5 months and it's 5 months next week. I usually notice the difference around month 4. So if I'm really cranky... y'all will know why! haha

I ordered an in and out file from amazon and was putting it together and one of the screws wasn't punched to be Phillips head. So I emailed the company per a note on instructions. Then I realized there were two extra screws, so had to re-email. I am trying to set up an office in my dd's old bedroom. I had bought new copier this past week. Not sure if I still have any paper.

LOUISE that's pretty good that they provided extra screws. ALSO it's so nice that we can type "SCREW" w/o the WW police cracking down on us.
SOOOO I have my FB Alta all fixed up, charged up and ready to go. EXCEPT I've already misplaced my charger. I mean it's not even been 24 hours and I lost it?? Is that accidentally on purpose? Anyway I have my FB set up to remind me to move 250 steps every hour if I've been sedentary. NOT SURE I like that so much b/c.... if I walk when it goes off.... well that's just plain annoying. If I DO NOT walk.... well then for whatever reason I feel kind of guilty. I may have to rethink this notification system. Anyway I walked the cul de sac so that's 500 steps so I think that should be good for TWO hours. And the wind is AMAZING. There are a couple of trees about 5 doors down, right on the lake.... well SAPLINGS is a better word.... anyway, they're staked into the ground but the stakes are starting to pull up. I may wind up w/ their trees in my front yard at this rate. The lake has whitecaps on it. Pretty but sheeeeesh and brrrrrr.
ALSO as I said, my sleep has sucked and I think it's time for new pellets. I fell asleep w/in 5 min but I woke up a LOT. Both restless and Awake. I got less than 7 hours and I'm an 8 hour/day gal. I guess I'll make a pellet appointment. SIGH

I really don’t get the Vicks on the feet thing… how CAN that possibly work for a cough? But I’m telling you, I know a lot of people who swear by it.
CELESTE man, you have the BEST gym right there at your complex! Take advantage of it! I know, I know…. WOW! Awesome on the riced veggies. Cool, cool, cool. I hope PETEY has a good day.
MARY how did you hold up during golf? I know when I’ve had that crud, sometimes I tire quickly for a few days.
Happy Belated BIRtHDAY to Penny! I was making notes on my calendar and BK will be 14 on Feb 1. Wow, no wonder he is starting to have the old-man kitty look.
Paid my vet bill today for boarding and yearly exam, and schedule Lu for dental on Monday. I was so worried about the anesthesia and all, that I asked a million questions about the whole thing until I felt comfortable. I stopped at Anytime to check out the new facilities (nice!) because I got a notice that Anytime is actually cheaper through BCBS than the recreation center on campus. Decisions, decision.
Waving to everyone…busy again today. I need to get some things done, but am waiting on the Dean to review them. I keep giving her the “now?” eye when she walks out of her office. I’m at a standstill here!!!
Waving to everyone…bbl
