Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend still least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning all,
Woke up with sciatica pain this morning. Ugh! Wonder where this flare up came from. Ouch! Needless to say I won't be doing much today.
Coffee awaits.

Joyce, sorry to hear about your sciatica problem. I get that sometimes and usually don’t know what I did to cause the problem. Hope you are feeling better, do some stretches if you can, that usually helps me.
Not much new here. Went out to lunch with a group of ladies, always a fun time. DH and I forgot that Tues. is the night our association plays bocce for fun – oh well, there is always next week. I am trying to find some clothes for the DGKs, they will be visiting in Feb. and there usually isn’t spring/summer clothes around by them. I was surprised that most of the clothes in the stores are still winter clothes here, I’m sure by next week or so there will be some summer clothes available. Hi to Cathy, Ruth, Jill and AWF.

Copied from our FB group page:
Good Evening! It got to 65 here today but the wind was gusting close to 50MPH a few times. The weeping willow lost a lot of those little branches....It will take me hours to pick them all up. Tomorrow John returns to his oncologist. We'll find out then if she'll restart chemo immediately following the appts or delay it a week or so. It might not be a bad idea to wait until next Tuesday as Friday-Saturday-Sunday we may get hit with freezing rain. If he had chemo tomorrow - 46 hrs later (Friday late morning), we'd have to return to have the IV line and chemo pump taken off. I'm not even going to attempt to drive on ice. FINALLY, made progress today. Got all the holiday decor that was left in the house sorted and organized and moved back out to the garage/barn. Pitched a few things. Took a few of the household repair items out there to DH's work bench. Laundry is finally current. G'pa's office guest chair has been moved from the walk-in closet/room to a spot in the LR. I had to take the room's door off at the hinges to get it moved. I did it all by myself...I did need DH to hand be a couple of screws so I could rehang the door....I didn't have enough hands! The chair looks good in the LR...the color is right and it's the correct size...not very big, yet large enough to be comfortable. Joyce - I hope you found some relief from that pain. Did you do some stretches as Dottie suggested. Dottie - can you check consignment shops for kids clothing? They ought to be putting the spring/summer stuff out. Jill - I hope you are getting some rest between running for work and taking care of your DF. Ruth How did Stan's dr appt go today. Did he have the test/s and get the results?
SLEEP WELL!

Good night all. Joy, I'm SO sorry to hear about your sciatica pain. I would not wish that on my worst enemy!! I thought it was worse pain than my knee replacement and the oxy didn't touch it!! Praying it will be better soon. Massage helped mine more than anything. She released something and it took a month to finally heal, but that was the turning point.
Dottie, enjoy the warm weather. Jill, prayers continue for your DF & DS. CB'ing takes a backseat to life's reality!
Cathy, we went this morning for Stan's lung function tests and X-ray. All were to establish a baseline to make sure the Ameodorol isn't causing hardening in the lungs. Not sure what/when we will hear. He will have these tests periodically as long as he's on the medicine. It doesn't affect everyone, so fingers crossed.
Weather ER was awful. Snow all morning, awful roads, but we made it safely home and back. Then the guy came out and gave us an estimate on replacing the two big windows. Think we'll sign up early in Feb. and they will be installed in April. In the meantime we will try to keep ice & mold to a minimum. I think we do have an air purifier downstairs.
Knitting on 4 caps for Carol. When those are finished, think I need a break. Arms hurt, so need to rest. I got 3 loads of laundry done today, did some cleaning, and am knitting. Got a lot of knitting done waiting for Stan this morning.
More tomorrow.
