Shelly: Well, you got a good night's sleep and you must have needed it! Glad that you got the rest. I really love Kevin Costner--got to see him at a golf tournament in Tahoe a few years back and he is one handsome fellow! Like that movie too. My DH's favorite movie is Tin Cup. Hope that you feel up to the workout today!
Lisa: How are you doing today? Sorry that DD didn't get the job, but I know that there will be something out there. I applaud you for seeking out those classes!! I think that there is always something to be learned--and you can hear what others have to say. I look forward to hearing how they are going.
Okay, now I am running late! Don't have to pack a lunch though...busy meeting-filled day but will try to check in. Have a good Wednesday!

Hi all! Just a fly-by...work is getting very crazy as I am helping another dept. with their grad student recruiting weekend.
DD will find something, it is just going to take time. I try to remain encouraging.
There were a couple of cars in the ditch this morning...must be black ice as it was hovering right around 32 degrees.
I have an appt. at 1 and then should have an afternoon free...maybe even sneak to the gym?

Sue, my fly by was up too this morning. Go figure! Hope it's a quiet day for you since you have to be 2 people today. Jason is going to Pt? What happened? Are yippy still going to swimming with your roads the way they are?
Gabrielle, great idea for the burrito bowl. I'll have to give it a try tonight. We are having it for left overs. It should be gone after tonight. No cooking that's a good thing. I've been reAlly trying to track too, on MFP. The new girl did start we are behind and now Bryana is training her so that's down another person. It will get done when it gets since. No walk today it's raining! Wow that is a lot of rain for you! Hope all goes well with the meeting Friday. I imagine it is a popular program.
Lisa, hope you do get to the gym if you want to. Also hope DD finds something soon.
Jenny, you feeling better. How are you?
Shelly, are you keeping those employees in line? I know you are.
Welk lunch is over. Back to work

Oh my...I just got such a sleepy spurt I needed to walk around a bit...stopped at Rita's desk to check her email and figured I'd pop in and see how everyone is doing today!!!
Will be heading to the pool right after work...temps are up and everything is melt and most roads are now dry, so no scary commute this afternoon!!
Will catch up when I get home!

Good afternoon. Got a few minutes while I am waiting on the order machine. Been busy all day. Crazy 😜, I guess everyone is taking the weather man serious. Ugh.......I thought I was going to choke a lady out just a minute ago. She messed up on how she was going to pay and act d like it was our fault. Anyway I wasn't able to refund the cash d they used to pay for because their card wasn't able to refund to. Another lady owes her some money and was going to pay for her groceries with her food stamp card. Anyway was glad to get them out the door
Ok the machine is mine so I'm going to go order. Check. Ack in a bit

I did get to the gym and I need to do that more. I like non-peak time so much better.
Need to start a folder for tax return papers.
After gym I finished dishes and cleaned up the living room. It only took about 45 minutes - I guess these are things that I like to procrastinate!
Now checking what options are for dinner...

Evening all...
Had a nice swim and soak in the hot tub...stopped for some gas too!! Had a $10 gift card so just got $10 worth...doesn't go far these days...our gas is up to $2.65 thanks to the new PA taxes that went into effect on 1/1/17!! We already have the one of the highest gas averages in the US!! Will hopefully get to BJ's for my next fill up since I can save 10 cents per gallon with the credit card!
Lisa...your Damaged Emotions class sounds like it should be very helpful for all!!
Shelly....are you getting sick??? Or just tired?? Can't remember the last time I slept 10-11 hours at night.... Your weather sounds like ours....frigid for a couple days, then spring weather, could hit 60° tomorrow then temps gradually drop with a high of 28° on Sunday....crazy! I'm kind of on track...I do great all day, but have been falling apart a bit in the evening! I've been at the pool a couple days this week and will likely go tomorrow and then Saturday morning after Kellen's basketball game!! I was trying to visualize how many cups were in each can of ingredients for your soup! I'm thinking 6 is about right!!
I'm going to have to check for Ole brand tortillas....are they in the refrigerator section or just with the bread & stuff??
Shelly...I've found I stay more on track if I pre-track and "tweak" later in the day....something about seeing the numbers that keeps me more on track! I'm with you on the fridge...I want a French doors with freezer on the bottom! Both girls have that kind and so does DB David...all of them commented on how much more room was it them and the space is more practical of all items!

Jo...MFP starts with how you have your macros set...as the day goes, you gain in each category according to how much activity you get....if you look at your calories, they are set at 1400 but yesterday you had eaten almost 1400 and still had 379 more to use....underneath the tracker you will see "you've earned "x" number of calories from exercise today"! It divides those calories out over the macros according to how you have it set! I left my breakdowns the way MFP did them...not sure what the default breakdown is?? How fun that you have a walking buddy at work!! You can both keep each other motivated!!
Carole...my protein consumption varies day to day....I usually am pretty close to the default 89g I start with but don't always get to the amount with the added grams! This morning it was raining and 38° when I left for work but the roads were cold and VERY slippery!!! Most schools had 2 hour delays and a couple even closed!!
Woo Hoo Carole on just one "serving" of the nachos!!! Indeed, a NSV! It would be for me too!! I have found that I have to take a serving and walk away or I just keep picking!! I count out my chips, scoops, triscuits, M&Ms....then close the container and I get away from the source!!
Jo...don't think of staying the same this year as a negative....you maintained and did not gain any weight back!! That is a good thing too!
Yes Carole...it was a good decision to flip my swim days....no sense taking a chance on roads...I was really glad I did when I saw how "dicey" the roads were this morning! I'm sure the rub on the Prime Rib was the culprit...especially if you tasted the salt!
You know Carole...I said that while I wanted to lose the weight and get to goal, my TRUE goal was to be healthy...I'm doing that, little my little, my numbers are getting better and while the scale is not always cooperating, it is moving slowly down but NOT up!!! We should be proud!!!

Carole...as active as Jason is, he will be 63 in February! Whether we like it or not, the older our body gets, the more beat up it gets!! YES...he will definitely feel better when the weather gets consistently "springy"!! He's never been very flexible and the older he gets, the stiffer and tighter his joints get....his biggest instruction from the therapist is to STRETCH, STRETCH, STRETCH!! He goes tomorrow for the last of the 2 week appointments...then he has to do all the exercises on his own for 6 weeks and check in with the therapist and see if he is improving...he will have additional appointments if needed!! As I type, he's downstairs stretching!
LOL...how did you "forget" the meds for the prep???
WOW Carole....how exciting that you have a new manager! If he has lots of experience, maybe, just maybe Kaitlin & Deb won't be able to "play him" and if Amanda is saying she could "learn" from him....who knows!! Also...yay for the open blinds...hopefully when the sun shines they will see it's not an issue!!
Gabrielle...glad you felt better today and got some TM time!! Sometimes, your body just needs to REST!!! Listen to your body, my friend!! Holy mackerel...that is WAY too much rain for such a short period of time!! I heard on the TODAY show that Sacramento was having lots of issues!! Glad someone is getting the snow to help with the water table!!! I've been an online track since I joined WW in 2007...I'm on a computer all day and with a smart phone, it's right there!!! Hopefully that will help you get back in a good habit of tracking! Yes...finding the balance between support and accountability with our kids is tough....hopefully DS will be positive and this will be a good thing!
Doing the "Happy Dance" for you Gabrielle...so glad the weather at this point is looking nice!!! I'm hoping that Jason continues with the stretching so his flexibility will improve...the PT thinks that part of his problem is the tight joints so hopefully if he keeps up with the stretching, all the "old age" pains will go away!
Gabrielle...it's Carole that has the full service gas station...I've been pumping my own gas for almost 40 years now!! NJ was a luxury when Hannah lived there...all gas stations are full service...it's a state law!

Lisa...I'm sure DD is disappointed not getting the job but something will open up for her....being patient to see it through is the hard part!! Hope you got to sneak to the gym after your appointment today!
JO...not sure why my WI is up but will see what happens with tomorrow's WI! Jason didn't really "do" anything...he just has these aches and pains that are nagging and when he had his annual PE,the doctor suggested a PT consult....so far he thinks that it will be beneficial...he just has to DO IT!!
Shelly...I followed that link but it opens in Safari, not Tapatalk??? Crazy and annoying! Oh my, what a fiasco with the ladies in your store!!! Around here when the "threat of weather" hits the news, people are crazy and scramble to the store!! It's silly actually...at most you are stuck in your house a day or so....no one will starve, they have more than enough in their house to "survive" for those days!! What's embarrassing for me is when I actually NEED milk, bread, eggs & TP when the threat of a storm is looming!
Lisa...glad you got to the gym and it wasn't too busy!! Can't believe it is tax time again...I've started my folder too!!! I want to get them done ASAP so we have the $$ for when I'm off!
Hard to believe....5 weeks from today is my surgery! I have an appointment with PT on Monday for all the pre-op exercises I need to do to help with my rehab!! Been doing some training at work to get people up to speed when I'm off....some of my reports will just "wait for me" to come back and then I'll catch them up...some of them are only used quarterly, so letting them go for a couple months is not a big deal!!
Time to put my feet up and relax a bit...hoping to sleep better tonight...it was so stinking hot in my room last night I tossed and turned all night...maybe that's why I had the terrible sleepy spell mid afternoon today!!
Sweet, skinny OP dreams to all!

Sue go to your Tapatalk app and paste that link in your forum search. It took me to the right page. I unfollowed my link and then was able to find and refollow. I copied the link from pro boards and pasted it in Tapatalk. I promise I will get this figured out so you can use your app

OK I'm back.
Jo thanks for starting us off. Good job on getting a walk in yesterday. I bet it felt good to get out of the office for a few. I know when I WO during lunch I love it because it gives me a break. It was in the 70's here today. and tomorrow will be in the high 40's then downhill from there. Not looking good at all. Ice is what they are calling for and power outages. I am sure i will be having ppl calling in So I will HAVE to make the drive in. I hope there is no power outages. Hope you are able to get caught up soon.
Carole I had left over ham and beans and the sodium had to have been high because I was up over a pound or pound and a half just in one day. Yay for stopping at one serving of nacho's. Yes huge NSV. Glad you are getting some help at work. If I was able to get one of those fridges I would have to do some adjustments on my cabinet. Hope you got some sun today so everyone could see the sun is a good thing.
Ugh to the prep for the procedure on Friday. Will you be working all day tomorrow? What time will you have to start your meds. Oh let me tell you my mind and laziness is bad enough for all of us. It is terrible. Rather embarrassing at times. Am trying to focus better.
Hope the new EBanking Supervisor will be a good mix. Hope he will make the appropriate changes that need to be made to make things run smoother. Yes I am sure being without work for 3 months can change your mind about how much a person is worth. I am sure if he does a good job they will give him a raise after they see how he does. I know for me I hate to start someone at a higher pay and then they turn out to not be worth it.

Glad the weather si suppose to warm up for Sunday.

Lisa no worries your flyby will be down in not time. Hope DD finds something soon
