Hi,
I was the last to post yesterday, so no shoutouts. I intended to go to WW meeting this am, and saw a friend/former co-worker when I stopped at Starbucks. I visited with him for several minutes, then got my drink and headed out. Except...after waiting for 3 vehicles to pass so that I could back out, another guy backed out at the same time and crunched the rear passenger side door of my car. After that, when I got in the car it was past time for the meeting to start and I was totally not in the mindset, so I headed to work instead. The good news is that the door is still functional, it seems to be cosmetic damage only. The front door has a bit of an ouch but not a lot of damage. The bad news is, it will be $$$ to fix and probably a week without the car while it gets repaired. I told the other driver that we were both wrong, we both should have been paying more attention. He felt bad about hitting my car and had already had a flat tire to start his day, so I hope his day gets better. His car just had a scrape. What a way to start the day, eh? The rest of the day is work, with a hair appt. at midday.
Okay, so now I need to settle down and get focused for the workday. Thanks for "listening" to my story.
Waving hi to Brenda, Debbie, Lou, Lori and Vicki.
Happy Friday, Ginia

Good morning.
Sorry about the early morning bumper love, Virginia. Never a good way to start the day.
Debbie - we went with semi gloss for doors and trim. And, thanks to the new light fixture in the spare bedroom, I can clearly see patches on the ceiling that need to be touched up. So, I now have entertainment for this afternoon. 🙄
Not much on tap today otherwise. Cleaning crew is coming around 3 today because - of course - that's when it's supposed to start raining. I usually go for a long walk while they work.

Good morning, Ginia - sorry about your parking lot Collision. Hope you didn't spill your coffee. ☺ Debbie - congrats on being free. How was the showing? Lou - congrats on acing the interview. If you get the position does that mean you'll have a 2-hour commute one-way. I hope it doesn't rain while the cleaning people are there. AJ and I leave for Florida on Wednesday we're both excited.

Hi, Virginia - thanks for the start. I am so sorry that your new car is damaged but so glad you didn't get hurt. I also need to know if any coffee was spilled. I hope the rest of your day was wonderful. Louis - I also have to do many touch ups when the bright lights come on. The painters also had to do some touch ups before they were paid. I hope you can get a walk in, you have rain gear , right? Vicki - where are you going in Florida? Kids love the beach I am sure AJ will have a blast.
The showing went well, they gave us a full price offer and we wouldn't have to close until January. They what the new carpet downstairs, they will have 4 babies crawling on it, and they want me to finish painting the trim. Those are some really nice parents to buy their child a house. We just have to deal with the wrath of DD. There are a few houses in the area that they are living now for sale, we can still split a house with them to help them get into a house they like. The houses are less expensive there also. I think it is all going to work out well. I still cannot do anything about my brothers house, we did fax the forms to them but it takes a few days to get them in their system. We can't get an appointment at the Spanish consulate until January 10 then we have to wait for approval. The gears are moving, just very slowly. Debbie
