I begin the day with a bone density exam and end it with a low carb cooking class at Whole Foods. I always enjoy the classes they offer. The rainstorms will end today, which is good, because we are going to the coast with our middle child and her family for the three day weekend. Breakfast is my usual 1 egg omelette with 2t cottage cheese, toast, LC cheese, fruit and tea but this week I am putting the egg on a bed of spinach. DH originally wanted to go out to lunch but at dinner he said that since I was eating away from home at night as well as this weekend, it would be better to eat at home. Yes! now I can have my rotisserie chicken and vegetables. Dinner will be at the cooking class. I don't know the menu.

Starting the day with a quick trip to the dermatologist, then to my weekly WW meeting, then I'm going to help a friend who facilitates a knitting group at our local service center for the blind and visually impaired. That will be a first for me, I do not know what to expect. Apparently they spend the year knitting things that can be sold at a holiday fund raiser for the Center, so the facilitators need to come up with ideas and assistance. It would drive me nuts if I lost my vision and felt I had to stop knitting or doing some sort of hand work so I think this is a good cause.
Anyway, meals for the day-- Breakfast was Bob's Red Mill multi grain hot cereal with almond milk and coffee with almond milk with a bit of nonfat milk added. I got a Magic Bullet for Christmas and have discovered I can whip my milk for coffee in it and get a bit of foam. Fun! Lunch will likely be my usual green salad with some turkey and Bolthouse Cilantro avocado dressing to which I am addicted. Dinner unfortunately is TBD. I'll be mindful of my remaining points though, whatever it is.
Goal to carefully track everything continues. And I have a goal to post on this thread every day as part of my overriding goal to maintain my weight loss.

Audrey: Let us know how the cooking class goes.
Jan: Let us know how the knitting class goes.
My different food this week was a "faro and artichoke" salad from the deli. It was good but oily. This week I might buy goat cheese for my nightly green salad. I really like it. Was doing it a year or so ago but stopped in one of my cutbacks after an episode of portion creep caused weight gain.

Hello everyone
Rain rain rain. Loving it. No flooding here.
Busy with remodeling. Going well. Shower tile install starts tomorrow in guest bathroom. Lights and mirrors were installed in master yesterday. Picture is my avatar.
Counter and sink will be installed in master Monday. January 24th cabinet will be installed in guest bathroom. Seeing an end to this bathrooms madness. 😀😀😀. Then starts whole house baseboards and interior paint and flooring.
Doing well on program. Tracking. Today is my weigh in day. I am online only. I lost One pound this week. Yay!!
Hope all of you are doing ok.

decolady Ohhh, the bathroom looks great. What is the lower light? Is that a night light? Really like the framed mirrors and the light above. So excited for you!

Grrr! I did everything I was supposed to. Simply Filling, with an overlay of tracking to be sure I didn't overdo it. 2-3 dairys per day. A big glass of water whenever an unplanned craving hit. Exercise. And I was UP 0.6 at yesterday's weigh-in! I have to keep on keeping on. Have faith that the program WILL work and this is just a blip. Faith. Faith.
Today's menu: Breakfast: breakfast burrito with 2 eggs scrambled, Ole Xtreme wellness wrap, salsa (all SF no-count foods) Lunch: Olive Garden minestrone soup and ONE breadstick (7 weekly pts) Snack: 8 oz Chobani nonfat plain Greek yogurt, strawberries, Cheerios (all SF no-count foods) Supper: 8 oz nf milk, Progresso chicken and wild rice soup, cheese quesadilla with Ole Xtreme wellness wrap and non-fat cheddar cheese (all SF no-count foods)
Jan -- handwork for the visually impaired! Sounds intriguing.

Late check in.
We had ice this morning from the rain and high winds the day before and then snow later in the day today. The commute this morning, although brief, was dicey. Better this evening. Ah, winter. A supervisor that reports to me resigned today. Going to miss her and it creates angst for our team.
B- Oatmeal with almond milk, blueberries and a dash of cinnamon L - turkey, lettuce and tomato on Dave's Killer Bread, clementine D - baked cod, asparagus and roasted sweet potato

ladymajky , Carol Ann, If my menu was consistently like yours today, I might gain weight. Of course, maybe you are not recording your veggies? I need lots of fruit and veggies. Research shows that more fruit and veggies changes your gut microbiome. A good gut microbiome helps you to lose and a bad gut microbiome can lead to gaining easily. One of my issues with Christmas is that I tended to eat less f&v while home rather than working. (My work cafeteria makes good healthy veggies, and I take raw veggies with me every day as a snack.) Also, have you looked at the salt content in your menu?

decolady,Congrats on your loss. ladymajky,I have found when I really stick to the program with no wiggle room sometimes it takes 2 weeks for the loss to show up.You are eating right and the program does work. Today I went to the ortho and found out I have arthritis in both knees although it's much worse in the right knee.He gave me a cortisone shot in the right knee but I can't tell much difference yet. They don't keep the Synvisc injections on hand since they are so expensive so they will call me when they come in.Unfortunately he said once you get arthritis no matter how much weight you lose you still won't have complete mobility back and even after the other injections I will prob not be able to extend my leg out all the way but it should be less painful. He believes in waiting for surgery as a last result and I'm glad. B:2 scrambled eggs on Ole Xtreme Wellness spinach tortilla with 1 tbsp Country Crock light L:1/2 Whataburger grilled chicken salad with balsamic vinaigrette S:raspberries D:chili beans,Yoplait 100 Greek protein yogurt with dry roasted almonds S:hard boiled egg,2 Ritz garlic butter crackers
