Good morning, Brenda.
I did get my steps in yesterday and am back to averaging 10k steps a day for the month. So, of course, we're expecting rain all day today...
Congratulations on finding a buyer, Debbie! Just needed the right people to come along.
Touch up painting and two light fixtures are on the agenda today. Cleaning crew ended up running so late that Cecilia made them reschedule for Monday.
Sniff test interview on Monday with the CPA firm of the company I interviewed with last week.
Enjoy Florida, Vicki!

Good morning, Brenda - thanks for the start. I hope you check back in and let us know how you are doing. Louis - yay on getting your steps in. Maybe this is the job you have been waiting for, right in time for the holidays.
I am going to have a down day today. DD is happy with the house options available. We will still go in half with them so they will have the funds for a nicer house. We set up the interview with the Spanish consulate, the first available is Jan. 17. We are moving clothing back into the master closet and discarding some in the process. The main water line started backing up while doing laundry, the water goes back down quickly so no big mess but something we will have to fix before inspection. It is a very pretty day so I think a walk is on the day plan. Debbie

Hi Debbie - congrats on the finding a buyer and making DD happy. In a couple of moths you'll be enjoying all Spain has to offer. I jope you can redlive the backup problem quickly.
Lou - glad your painting project is done.
Hi Brenda, Lori and Ginia.
DD is on my naughty list. My DS is spending the night so he can babysit AJ. I leave the house early Sunday for my jog and DD is attending a party tonight. I am looking forward to Florida and warmer weather.

Hi,
Thanks for starting us, Brenda. How have you been? Thanks for the kind words about the car.
Hi, Lou. Great job on getting the steps in. I really do have to work & focus to get 10K steps in on most workdays, sitting is the name of the game most of the time. Shout out to Cecelia for rescheduling the cleaning crew. Maybe Monday will be a better walking day for you, too. Good luck with the sniff test on Monday, I hope all fragrances are good ones.
Hi, Debbie. Oh, good news that DD isn't upset about the house sale. Things are meant to happen in their own time, I suppose. Love it that you got your asking price. I am glad that your house is going to have a growing young family to love it. Bleah regarding the water line, I hope it is a simple fix. Enjoy your walk, it is super windy and rainy here today, so not a good day to be outdoors.
Hi, Vicki. Doesn't DD know that Santa is watching? She needs to be behaving instead of acting up right now. What part of FL are you visiting? We are heading to the Tampa Bay area to visit DS#1 and family.
So...yes...some coffee was spilled yesterday when my car received contact, but thankfully not much sloshed out. I usually have some napkins in my door pocket so they took care of the spillage. The rest of the day had its ups and downs, I am glad for the weekend. DSis is supposed to come by sometime this weekend to drop things off to store in our attic. They should close on the sale of their house on 1/3 if all goes as expected. I did a WATP workout with resistance band and have practiced some hooping. I have been getting laundry, packing and chores done so far. DH and I will go on a dinner date this evening. I am supposed to see DS#2 tomorrow, I have asked him to confirm but nothing yet. I will send him another text after he's done with his workday.
Waving hi to Lori.
Take care, Ginia

Good morning, Lori - thanks for starting my day with a good laugh. A donkey, chicken and a cat that is so funny. I am glad you had a fun trip. Virginia- moving in January doesn't sound fun but we will be doing that to. You are always prepared. Louis - good luck tomorrow. Vicki - are you going to Disney?
Thanks for the good wishes, things are starting to move forward. We spent time with DD and DBF looking at houses yesterday. We made the mistake of looking at new model homes that were beautiful but a little over their budget. I don't think anything else will top them. So that along with are walk got me lots of steps. Today we went grocery shopping and will look at more houses with DD again. Debbie

Hi, folks.
Welcome back, Lori! Glad you had time to decompress a bit.
New construction is always temptation, Debbie. But, there's so much involved and the price always ends up way beyond what you thought because everything you want ends up being an "extra" charge. Oh.. You want doors on your cabinets?
Yesterday's light fixture upgrade was a partial success. The new fixtures work, but I did something along the way that killed the light at the entry foyer and garage entrance. So, an electrician will be coming by tomorrow to undo the savings I was hoping to achieve. In the meantime, I had to kill the circuit because the light by the garage smelled like it was smoking. So, I have to open the garage door manually.

Hi,
Lori, thanks for giving us the Sunday start. It's very cool to see that the whole gang has checked in at some point this weekend. Welcome back, and I am glad that you got some very well deserved relaxation time. Wow, it's very fortunate that you didn't hit any of the livestock that were in the road. Thank you, I am looking forward to seeing DS#1, DDIL, both DGDs and of course DGranddog. This will be DH's first time to see DGD#2 in person.
Hi Debbie, DSis brought some things to store in our attic and she is going to be moving out sometime in December. Not sure when her STBX is vacating. Hopefully you will find a nice home that needs DD and DBF to take care of it. I am happy for you that things are moving along with the sale of your house and the impending move to Spain.
Hi Lou. Sorry that your electrical project didn't go as planned. Hooray for Cecilia shopping the sale options, a bargain is always a good thing.
I hung out with DS#2 this morning. We had breakfast at a place I usually go with my walking buds. The waitresses did a double take at me being in street clothes instead of workout wear and having a different breakfast companion to boot. They are such nice people. DH worked on straightening out the ouch on my car. He worked at a body shop for several years. He still does the work on his own truck projects. The car will still need to go to a shop for permanent fixing, but it looks better now.
Waving hi to Brenda and Vicki. Time to finish up the things I need to get done to be ready for my short work week and putting the last load of laundry away.
Good night, Ginia
