The Mind ☯ Body ☯ Spirit connection emphasis is creating balance, wholeness, and coherence in our lives. It acknowledges that how we think, what we feel, and what we believe create the life we live and the world around us.
Let's get started! We'll post:
Daily Affirmation Fitness Goal or report Health Goal Gratitude

affirmation - I'm a master at filtering out the noise health goal - focus on actions that bring value to my life fitness goal - 1 hr mix focused fitness gratitude - I get to stay home in my warm cozy house on this Cold and Icy day. I am blessed!
Michelle, what aftermath from the rain do you have to deal with? Did you get water in your house? I loved your 'black belt' in shopping! haha! Awesome that you feel lighter after purging. Renovations really help in that department. I spent a lot of time looking around my house and thinking about the value my 'stuff' has. I realized most of my 'stuff' is materials for crafting and seasonal decor. Both relate to my creative side, and I do believe that has value, so I'm not going to fret about it.

Good morning all! Thanks for being sympathetic to my plight yesterday. I try, I really do, but sometimes I want to gouge my eyes out! Anetta your cardio sounded so fun. Ha ha I can empathize about the cough drop lady. My worst experience in yoga class was being in a packed vinyasa flow class and someone kept passing gas non-stop. The teacher kept lighting stick after stick of incense, and started saying things about "loving our neighbors" and "we're all from the same drop" but the waves of olfactory assault were hard to endure. I think everyone who was in that class still remembers it to this day. Michelle thanks for laughing. Where has our Suzanne been? And good morning to Lisa, Carol and anyone who joins us. Daily Affirmation - today is a better day! Fitness Report - mat and ball PT and restorative yoga PT. Health Goal - work hard at M.O.G. tonight. Gratitude - a nice email from my son this morning. ♥

Good morning, everyone!
I'm here, Pat. I posted yesterday. I was the one that wrote about the yoga class and the suckling, hacking, (and groaning) yogi. Passing gas has got to be the worst! For either party. And yoga could have that effect. Eek!
Lisa: funny thing. Yesterday, you mentioned The Minimalist movie. Last night I was listening to a podcast (Taking Control: Organization podcast) and the cohost mentioned she'd just watched The Minimalist, too (Netflix). I think I'll watch it tonight. I'm at a point in my life where I've, for the most part, stopped collecting. I need to purge. My only downfall when it comes to shopping/collecting is....come on, you can guess....outdoor plants! Shrubs. Perennials. Annuals. Its my "weak" spot.
Daily Affirmation: Yes, I can. Fitness Goal: Rest day today. Try to get to dance class 3X a week. Strength-training, at least 3X a week. Health Goal: Work on reducing stress and handling it better when it comes my way. Que sera, sera. Gratitude: For the basics I have: food, shelter, love.
Waving hello to everyone.

Good morning, all! Thank you for getting us up and going today, Lisa. Lisa, I like the thought of focusing on actions that bring value to our lives. Thanks so much for that seed for thought! Pat, your story about the gassy yoga neighbor made me giggle. Yes, everyone does it (even my dogs!!), but that would be soooooo distracting in a class where the goal is to be undistracted! lol Work it out at M.O.G. tonight! Suzanne, 'tis the season to not be too close to anyone who is hacking and coughing, so I understand your concern about being right next to someone who was doing that. Kudos for jumping back into "gym rat" mode and setting new fitness goals! Michelle, rain water lemonade at your house! Hope there will be more than 10 minutes of sunshine for you all today. We're under partially blue skies right now and my fingers are crossed that it stays that way. My mood gets soggy along with everything else when it rains so much! Hello to Carol! I'm an emotional dip today after being told by my SIL that a tumor has been discovered in her brain. She is opting for radiation treatment rather than surgery since it carries the risk of the loss of her speech. We are as close as real sisters even though she and my brother are in the process of divorcing after 17+ years together. All I can do is stay in the moment and breath my way through all the emotions that are coming up. As hard as it is to share such intimate information, I realize the importance of immersing myself in the supportive energy here in order to be able to help support her, my nieces, and brother through whatever lies ahead. Daily Affirmation - I breath in calmness and groundedness and release all fear and anxiety. Fitness Goal - Dog walk, functional fitness from chores. Health Goal - Lower BP at doctor's appointment this PM. Drink water. Gratitude - The exuberant spirit of Patty, my SIL. I am grateful that we share a strong bond of sisterhood. Wishing all of you a good day.

Anetta, so sorry to hear about your SIL, but am happy to have an opportunity for all of us to cast many positive intentions out into the universe to help her get through this rough patch. I have used the law of attraction many times in the past few years to stay positive through troublesome times like this. We MUST believe she will come out of this just fine. There is no other choice I want to manifest.
So... Here goes ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I had to come here to see what my plan of action was. I went off the deep end this am and started organizing my laundry room, fabric closet and craft nook. YOWZA! 5 hours later, I haven't completed one single thing on my 'to do' list! So much for practicing prioritization!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But, my space is uncluttered and ready for the next project. And oh.. found 3 projects that need help. I am such an addict!

Pat, Stop making me laugh about your situation! Try cramming your pockets with imaginary hearts and then throwing them up in the air like confetti when around those kind of people. Surround them with light and love. Or better yet surround your self with the golden light of the perfect protective bubble. If all that doesn't work, try throwing something--the better your aim, the better the results!
(((Anneta)))
Affirmation: DH can easily put up with me! I am a cranky brat when I am so tired.
Goal: More water ballet. Anetta, I am thinking of calling it "Rainbow Lemonade".
Gratitude: Food
Lisa, Gadzooks, Don't encourage me to put on my Drama Queen tiara. I think it is amazing that you got all that organized in 5 hours---you must have really gone into overdrive. Congrats!
I am always amazed at how posting to this board perks me up!!!
Go MBSers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ugh, I pulled a muscle in the left of my back doing weights on a ball. DUMB! I am POSITIVE it's not going to linger!

Anetta: Know that my thoughts are with you and your family. And I'm sending all good spirits your way for the successful recovery. You are such a spiritual soul; you'll find the path to get thru this along with your SIL.
Do keep us posted as you wish to. That's one reason we're here. Hugs to you.
Best, Suzanne
May you be happy. May you be healthy. May you find peace.

Good News! Situation under the house and basement is improving. Just so much water. Anyway another mini miracle we stopped by the plumbing supply company and just happened to run into two guys DH works out with who got on their trusty computer and presold us the two pumps we needed so if the delivery truck can ever get over the pass we will have those before all others are put on the shelf. These things cannot be found for love or money in this neck of the woods due to the hundreds of people who need them. We are OK since we had one that has been working but have a better plan than us spending hours and hours shop vacing that we want to implement. Thank you Universe!
Also--thanks for the kind thoughts about my affirmation. I turned into a real sweet heart which was good because we ran over a thingie from a set of chains that impaled our tire necessitating a tire change. Talked DH into driving on it for safety's sake to a safe place to change it. Truly terrible conditions anyway but we both had a good time. Which would not have been the case if I remained stuck in brat mode. Thanks!!!
