Good Morning,
Posted late last night. Good work yesterday with your organizing efforts and all those steps!
I made the cheesecake, it looks AWFUL and weighs a TON! Followed directions to the letter but it overbrowned from the start. Said to bake for 15 minutes at high temp then lower the temp for rest of the bake time. The jiggle and the set and that seemed "normal". Hopefully it tastes okay. I'm baking Maple Shortbread cookies, which I was going to do anyway for alternative but I may need to buy some Pepperidge Farm from the store to accompany those.
Goals for this morning are to finish the cookies, make the Angle Biscuit dough to get in the fridge, shower, general pick up, shower to visit friend this morning. I have to drive into the city, which I hate. But she just moved there.
Then I will return and continue with soup prep, table setting, and general clean up will continue.
Yesterday I made two returns of decorations I did not "need" and were bulky to store, money back on the card! Not going back to that store till spring! Was a holiday mad house, HUGE check out lines! I was taking care of a DD X-mas present to get advantage of sale at an putdoor apparel store. While there I took care of getting DS new ski pants and jacket. We have a lot of "gear" here that is not "right", for staying warm and dry for skiing. He's grown so much, this stuff was in order and I even if he grows taller, this stuff will work. There was cute ski Jacket for me which "Santa" may bring me for X-mas! My coat is not really a ski coat, but I've had 35 years. I think it's okay if I have a cute, new ski jacket. I will work with DS to keep his ski gear separate from DH's hoard.
More later

Sorry the cheesecake didn't turn out for the best. Great!!! job on the returns also the other day you mentioned that you had not bought something that was cute. Such a victory to skip the impulse buying. Best for me to stay out of stores and off line which I am doing much better at. Except, of course, for dog training at Home Depot but not finding bags of cement cute so not much problem there.
Glad you fund some great gifts. You must love that coat. I am envious that you would have it and wear it for 35 years--shows advanced shopping skills! I am that way about furniture, even had my LR furniture redone at an exhorbitant cost to keep the furniture. I would definitely rethink that now.
Trip to town today for physical therapy for Luna. Going to get some chores done before I leave!
