Good morning, I am going to try to get in a little gym time today. I am feeling better but not on top of the world yet. The house appraisal is this morning. CBL Debbie

Good morning.
Shopping total still stands at $0.
I may get started on the annual search for where we stashed our Christmas cards today. Or not. 😉

Hi, Thanks for starting us, Debbie. I hope the appraisal goes well. I also hope that you are able to get a good workout completed. You may just need to dial it back a bit in the intensity department. I am glad that you are feeling better. Did the home inspection go well yesterday? Hi, Lou. Hey, we are tied at $0! Mine won't stay there for too terribly long, though. Most of my purchases will be for the younger generation. Gift cards will probably be the main thing purchased for the big kids. Good luck on the treasure hunt for the Christmas cards. I amaze myself at how good I can be at hiding things from myself. Hi, Brenda. I'd say you are due for a new set of wheels. If you want to stay with an SUV/crossover and go with a Ford, an Escape or Edge might be good. I have a co-worker who just bought her second Escape. She loves it. My DSis has an older Escape and it has been a good ride for her. Lori is a big fan of her Edge. I have a friend who has an older Edge and it is a good vehicle. I like Lou's suggestion of a Fusion in the car category since I finally gave up on coupes (for now). We are usually Toyota purchasers due to DH's connection with the company. We have had two Toyotas make it to 200k+ miles so far. One of them is my '07 Solara (which was a Camry coupe) and it is still in the family and still going strong. I wish that Toyota still made a comparably sized/priced coupe, that Solara was just the right size for me and not crazy expensive. The other 200k+ mileage vehicle was a Tacoma that we bought used for DS#2. He drove it for several years. It was sold and last I heard it was still going, although the young driver who has it has really been rough on it. Hi, Vicki. Are you still in FL or back home? Hi, Lori. Did the Thanksgiving dinner go well? We drove home yesterday. It was a long day on the road. Traffic wasn't horrible except in Nashville. We had a couple of slowdowns in Atlanta but they weren't too bad. I felt as if I were coming down with something yesterday and it is still lingering. I have been pushing the water and will gulp some EmergenC soon. Speaking of cars, I need to get at least two estimates on mine so that I can get my ride looking spiffy again. DH did a good job of getting it straightened out but that was only a workaround, not the real repair. I am missing those littles and their parents. We had a good visit with them. DDIL is sick with a stomach bug today so DS is working as much as he can from home while she recoups. I have a feeling he won't get much done work wise until the littles have naptime. I got up and did WATP with resistance band first thing. I'm heading for the grocery and possibly also to get estimates for the car repair. It will be back to work and the usual Wednesday routine tomorrow. Take care, Ginia
