@beckyw2016 I can get Dave's Killer bread at my HEB. Not sure if it's at yours. It has limited sugar, but good protein and fiber. It comes in a regular sliced and also thin sliced which is 1/2 the calories (70 per slice).

@beckyw2016 I found Dave's Killer Bread at our Wal-Mart today and it's also at Kroger in addition to HEB. Hopefully, one of your stores has that also. It freezes well too.

linda72,Both our HEB and WM stock it but I notice it still only has 21 whole grains are something like that.I have found even if a bread at least in Elgin even if it says whole grain I have to look closer b/c it's not. Some whole grain is better than no grain I know but neither DH or I eat very much bread. In fact the only bread product I even have in the house is the HEB carb sense tortilla b/c although it has 13 carb grams it has 10 fiber grams and I really need that with my IBS.Thanks for letting me know where you found it though in case either of us decide to eat sandwiches or toast but he has a biscuit & sausage with his fried egg in the mornings.

@beckyw2016 I prefer the bread toasted with 1 T of Jif Whips Peanut butter. I don't usually eat sandwiches. Thanks for the info on the tortilla.
