This challenge was created five years ago by a few Weight Watchers members. We are committed to making positive and permanent lifestyle changes. Success isn’t always measured at the scale. Each day, tally the positive actions that you made the day before and then talk about the challenges you are working on. Anyone with a positive commitment to the program can join. If you are the first one to post each day, please copy, paste and get us started and, if you choose, pose the Question of the Day (QOTD) that solicits constructive ideas to following the plan.

Good Morning!!!! love light blessings love light blessings love light blessings
Carol, OP! Tap dance! positive attitude! Enough sleep which probably makes the first three possible. I know it does with me and I got ten good solid hours last night which I really needed.
Jan, OP-ish, also dancing! and also positive, thanks for the energy and calm!
NON-FOOD FUN THIS WEEKEND, well I am doing chores today, laundry in washer getting ready to hang out and then the yard. Tonight, Mass and dinner with gal pal at an Ethiopian restaurant. I will not be OP which is a shame because these shorts are sooo tight but hopefully the yard work and chores will help offset that.
yesterday: OP and a short easy workout at the gym. I also made a quick run to the supermarket for more fresh produce. Until I get more nights like last night, short and easy will be my workouts.

Happy Saturday positive peepers! I will have to google ethiopian food Janet, enjoy!! I'm working on getting my steps in today. I finally broke down and got some new tennies as I was running thin on the last pair. I know they are supposed to be changed out every 6 months or so, and I'm thinking this last pair I've muddled through with for a year or two too long! Feels good to have new tennies on with a bounce in my step!
Yes I CAN: -Track it all today, though apparently WW is working on the new stuff right now as it wiped out my breakfast that I logged in. Will paper track for now. -Shoot for my 10K steps. I've been slacking since my fitbit won't sync. It's like that accountability thing, no one sees it anymore. Same as no one sees me weigh anymore with no more meetings. It's been downhill ever since then. Need to work on self-motivation here. -Make good food choices, whole foods, more veggies and fruit today. Slacking there too!
Waving to all of you. Happy December. I haven't even thought of December goals either. Working on not teetering my weight over a forbidden zone. It's a big struggle. One day at a time here!

Good Afternoon, positive e-pals!
Yes I DID: --have a terrible night of insomnia. Maybe 3 hours sleep, max. Will try melatonin tonight. --drag self to WW, knowing that "4" was just out of reach again. And yes, the WW site seems to be "down for maintenance" now, getting ready for the big reveal 🥁 --eat a healthy breakfast, shop for OP foods, & work with DBF to get our living room Christmas tree-ready.
We'll probably go pick out our tree on Monday. Sweetie's doing the vacuuming, etc, and I love him for that, but I know he'll be moaning with aches and pains tomorrow, LOL! I've been working on paper and misc clutter....ugh! But hey, I just found a forgotten gift bag, a present I bought for a pal last year but misplaced. Yay me, I've got one present wrapped🎁, LOL!
Yes I CAN: --let fear and anxiety drift by, not latch onto it
Jan - I really liked your mantra from Thursday...borrowing it now: I correct mistakes without judgment.
Sally - keep on stepping! I'm probably going to slack off today....really tired. Sometimes exercise helps revive me, but I may need an actual nap instead.
Janet - yay for non-food fun!
Nat - I'm also trying to stay out of an uncomfortable zone. Let's agree to keep on doing a day at a time, do the tracking, remember to be accountable to ourselves! And yay for new shoes, they makes such a difference!
Be well! Carol

Happy Saturday Evening Peeps,
Busy day...Jazzercise at 8:30, laundry at 9:30, Mom at 10 am. Tried a new Crockpot recipe today, pretty good but I'll have to tweak it. Put away the Fall decorations in readiness for the Christmas stuff. If it wasn't for Mom I would do a lot less, but she just loves all the decorations. Doubt if she'd love it so much if she had to put it all away every year. Lol. Found a wonderful recipe for bran muffins that my family loves so I made some of those. Will freeze most of them, as I could get in trouble with muffins. And I am still decluttering. Whew, I am tired just looking at my to-do list today.
There was a handicap surfing competition in La Jolla today. Some of those surfers have real courage. There was one man there who was blind.
Carol and Janet: I am sending deep sleep your way.
Nat: Can you find an accountabile-a-buddy to check in with? Someone who lives nearby and is non-judgemental? I am so with you on the importance of having to check in. WW online only would not have worked for me. I needed to have my feet held to the fire and know that my WW leader, who I really look up to, was monitoring/mentoring me.
Did pretty well today. My monthly WI is on Tuesday so I will be vigilant and strong...till then at least.
See you tomorrow!

Nat, website was up right now while I logged in, do not know if it will stay up. I am totally with you, no website no accountability. You could type in exercise and food here, I did that a couple of times. We are all in this struggle together and will lean on each other even more when Christmas cookie season is fully here.
Carol, so sorry about insomnia, full moon? You and I have trouble sleeping with the same things. I did sleep last night but crazy dreams and kept waking up. I blamed the moon. Good luck at supermarket -- staying OP starts there.
Jan, you are so sweet to do decorations for Mom.
I do not think Ethiopian place was that bad point wise but also was not that good food quality or service wise. I treated my friend to birthday dinner and am glad I remembered to bring a gift because apparently I was the only one who had done anything this year. I think even though we are all getting older that those things are still important. Like Jan doing decorations for Mom (very kind). I also mowed, got in a walk, Mass and lots of law.
Today: walk around foggy weather (glad I got yard and laundry done yesterday), some weights at the gym, more law. Op , Ethiopian leftovers in fridge.

Good Sunday afternoon positive ones! I did make my 10K steps last night. My new tennies were giving me energy LOL. I saw on Connect that online users will be able to go to a meeting this week as a guest and receive the handouts also. I'm thinking I'll go down on Thurs and go with mom to her meeting. She'll like that. And I know she'll get the handouts out of the leader if there is any resistance LOL. I'd like to give it a good college try here for December to keep me in check and not over the edge. Janet, sorry the restaurant wasn't great place, but so nice of you to treat your friend for her birthday. Jan, I will have to connect again with my old WW buddy who has made lifetime, though I know recently she stopped going to the meetings as it was just a hassle with her owning a business to get down the mountain. I hope she is not regretting that decision. I will give her a call! Carol, ugh on the insomnia. I hope you find some help with that.
Yes I CAN: Get in another 4000 steps tonight. Eat light for dinner and stay out of the carbs (tortillas in the fridge oy vey) Get to bed earlier than normal. Stop the nighttime netflix bingeing!!
Waving to all. Nat

Good Evening, positive ones!
Yes I DID: --turn off the iPad earlier and get better sleep (you know, I didn't think about the full moon, but maybe that does have something to do with my restlessness!) --celebrate warm-ish weather with a bike ride this afternoon. YES, a December bike ride! It was almost 50 degrees. Comfy except for my feet....wore cloth sneakers, should have remembered wool socks!
Yes I CAN: --use moderation with food choices --relax, wind down
Be well! Carol

Sunday Evening Greetings.
Just a quick hello and to let you know I am present and accountable. Sounds like the full moon is doing it's dirty tricks again. You know I worked with the public for many years and every time we had some crazy person in the store it was a full moon. Just sayin...
Better sleep and sweet dreams folks!
Jan
