We are a group working to declutter our spaces. Please feel free to share your goals, projects, ideas, revelations or challenges facing you as you work toward your own goals. Also feel free to copy and past this intro, use our "CLUTTERBUSTERS" Title for the day to start the thread if you don't see it started.

Good Late Afternoon!
Today has gone well!
TaDas: -yesterday I unloaded car and brought stuff in the house -this morning I organized and put 90% of that stuff away properly -yesterday I made space on garage shelves to shelve the two racks I'd prepped but decided not to work on, was good getting those out of the den. -Cleaner came this morning and I was ready for her, I worked ahead of her downstairs to finish off kitchen, she starts upstairs, this always gets me going. -boogied the fridge of final leftovers, soooo many containers, crazy -washed three sinkfuls...yes, 3!, of hand wash items, containers, big bowls, mixing , baking sheets, etc...Whew! -unloaded/reloaded DW -rebooted laundry three times. -brought items back into laundry room I take out so she can sweep/mop that floor -did a pick up in the family room/put away -I used a coupon that was allowed to be applied to sale items from Pottery Barn and bought some pillow covers for holiday to put on my own pillows each holiday. I have always wanted something, the covers are easy to store, will fit over my existing pillows, I'm excited to get them.
House looks good after cleaner.
GOt DS his ski stuff yesterday. This year we are going to do the rent now, buy end of season plan for boots, skis, bindings and poles. It's a good deal I think, about $800 not including tax for everthing, it's not super highend stuff, but is all new equipment and will do. Even if he grows a bit more the things will still fit him. He seemed happy.
You know how rats have no bladders? They just pee while they run all over, that's why areas they infest smell so bad. I've decided DD is like rat. She leaves a mess or a pile of stuff everywhere she goes. But I should count myself lucky she HAS a bladder! And interestingly she is the most hyper critical member of the household. Yet she is the pot calling the kettle on many things, yet the the things I come across....yadda, yadda. Okay...enough of that! I will need to speak with her...again.
She is doing great in school though and so is DS for that matter, which I'm so thankful for right now. FIngers crossed this streak continues!
Grocery shopped, gonna actually cook dinner tonight!
There is a stash and dash sack and a box that need dealt with and there is a jumble of things in the den that need put away, and paper build up, and general clutter control. This will be my focus the rest of the days this week. I work my PT job tomorrow.
Hope you're having a productive day.
Z.

Z, You made me laugh so much about the rat analogy. I know the situation is serious but I could really relate to having to deal with family members over a myriad of topics which I will skip discussing LOL. Great job getting so much done!!!
Another day of errand running for me today. Clair needs to get spayed before we have some unwanted additions to our family in the form of collie/lab crosses. So today I got her blood work done and then next Wednesday is her appointment. This stuff takes a long time but not going to get going on this topic. After all she will only need to get spayed once. I did talk the Dr out of me having to drop her off at 7:30 in the morning which was helpful. That was an insane time considering the commute and morning traffic.
More stuff to do in town tomorrow. Such a pile up but I will plow through it and be victorious!
Hope you are having a great night!
