Good morning, Thought I would try starting the thread. Hope I titled it correctly. Working on finishing decorating and putting containers away. Hopefully my son will be home to help me with the high shelves that I can't reach in the kitchen.
Lot's got done yesterday. I made two gifts (note card packs), bought more greens and actually put all my stamping stuff away after making the cards.

Good Morning, Looks good Cathy, thanks for starting us. Try copy/pasting the intro next time as the first post to the thread for the day, then your post after that. You can title any catchy title you like for the day as long as you list "CLUTTEBUSTERS S.S." first.  Great work on getting your cards/gifts made and putting supplies away. Glad you got lots done. I am technologically challenged, I tried to upload the picture of this years card as my avatar, but it's sideways and I can't figure out how to rotate it, even on my own computer, so in the interest of saving time and not getting sidetracked with it, I'll leave it as it is for a day or two. I'm not even sure if it will show up till I'm done posting this...lol. DD Room Organization: Received the cosmetics holder for DD's dresser top in the closet her and the organizer set up. It's the perfect size for what she has, hold everything, including her eyeglasses case. The new, more grown up, patterned cube canvas storage totes arrived and I swapped them out from the neon pinks/greens. Had to chuckle a little though because organizer was suggesting "different colored cubes" Well that's what we had already, green, pink and purple, which wanted to be gotten rid of? ANyway, the new coordinating cubes will have lable/tags for them so it doesn' matter if are all the same. I sent an e-mail to see if friend wants the desk and chair, the cubes are out of the room to be donated, I still need to switch the clothes to the new hangers. The little mirror is supposed to arrive today. The next appointment is scheduled for Monday the 19th. Got the oven cleaned yesterday, thank goodness, it is gleaming! Plumber is coming today to fix the leaky toilet ToDos: -finish painting remainder of cards -clean the kitchen, family room pick up -put laundry away -take DS driving, long one, he needs hours -drop him back at Drivers Ed class at the school -finish reading book for Bookclub tonight, wrap my book for exchange! Z. |

CB Update...did 90% purge/reorg in in cupboard in upstaird kid bathroom, through away a lot of trash, and organized 3 drawers. QUestion of the day, why is trash being put back in a cupboard or tossed in a drawer? Why doesn't it just get put IN the waste bin?
I have a large shopping bag to take to donation station with candles, mugs, toys, store free gift items I'm never going to use that will just go bad. Part of me is thinking, "Maybe I need those neon storage cubes for the cabin...but I kind think, no, not really and if I did, I guess I could spend $8.00 and get two more of them. They are going!

Just a quick fly by. Another day of minor accomplishments. Dogs to vet, picked up the new car. Headed to the garage to load it up with the emergency items etc in a few minutes. The foundation contractor finished but his employees broke something down there so he will need to come back to repair that. It's just wonderful to have those two posts replaced. I kept imagining all kinds of disasters--middle of the house caves in etc.
Here's my CB list:
- One tea kettle
- One book
- a front seat cover
- a back seat cover
- duplicate emergency sleeping bag
Probably will be more to come when I get busy putting things in the car.
Z, Love!!! your Christmas card, great job on the kids bathroom. No answer for the question of the day. DH also puts broken, useless etc items in cabinets, drawers etc. Makes for some strange discoveries. I agree about letting items go that I think will be used possibly, maybe sometime in the future. That CBd quite a bit when I did the major CBing. Thanks for the update on DDs room. Five stars ***** on all of your efforts!!! Looking forward to the next step on the 19th.
Cathy, nice t see you here. I checked out the Flylady board today.

Congrats on the new vehicle!! Woohoo!! Nice CB list yet, again!! I'm sure it's a lot of peace of mind to not have to worry about collapse calamity! Sorry stuff got broken in the process.
I took DS out driving around for 1.5 hours today, he's supposed to have a certain number booked by his next driving appointment on Monday, we will meet the goal. I made him drive me to the donation station, as downtown is under major construction, it was a little nerve wracking to say the least. I'm sure it will get better as time goes on...the driving that is...lol. So that stuff got CB'd!
Teen Room Organization: Received mirror Amazon with slight damage. It is cute and perfect size/shape for the dressing area, above dresser, fits between the brackets, but still large enough that it's actually uselful. I took a photo and e-mailed Amazon/seller with photo attached and asking if I could just please get $20.00 credited/refunded rather than go through a whole return exchange process because it's just hanging in a closet, however I'd prefer not to have to pay full price. I'll have to keep the box/pakcing junk till I hear back from them.
THe stuff from The COntainer Store arrived. THe storage compartments in the top of the homework totes are only 1/2 the lid, so that was a small bummer. But they will still be useful and I'm glad I got the extra 2 each clear pencil case and compartment holder to hold the extra pencils and doo/dads, there is room for them to set in front or back of the hanging file folders. ALso the kids graphing calculator junk will fit in them as well. I'm going to try to get it all transferred before bookclub tonight.
