We are a group working to declutter our spaces. Please feel free to share your goals, projects, ideas, revelations or challenges facing you as you work toward your own goals. Also feel free to copy and past this intro, use our "CLUTTERBUSTERS" Title for the day to start the thread if you don't see it started.

Spent a number of hours outside today working on winterizing and so on. Thanks for thinking about the electric cords and the possibility of chewing. The cords for the heaters and water are wrapped in steel. Even so I have came up with a plan to keep the dogs from getting access to them. I talked DH into putting up the coyote fencing around the entire yard so now they will have much more room to roam around in. However the puppy will need something to do if she is left for an extended length of time or she will get into trouble. I am planning on taking her to doggy day care several days a week when I go back to work then she will want to rest at home the next day after all that activity.
Also did some laundry, cleaning, organizational work and a little decluttering. More to do so I better get back at it. 13,122 steps so far. Didn't realize I had been that active. Glad I am wearing this FitBit. OP also.
Hope you are having a great day!

Sounds like a good plan for the puppy!
Today has been interesting.
TaDas: -rebooted laundry X 3 -washed sinkful of handwash stuff -emptied DW, reloaded -leftover spaghetti for lunch and dinners tonight, yay! Dont' think the kids "love" it..oh well. -got through one box of miscellaneous craft show stuff emptied, there was also bags of stuff within that box so it took some time to sort through. Put away, tapes, papers, recycled stuff, threw stuff out, put a few thing to donate.
I had some stuff set aside in guestroom, added to it and CB'd the following: -4-5 pair of pants -pair of shoes -three tennis skirts -one decorative jar -one santa music box I no longer want -kids CD's, music -a 14" x 10" breadbox and it's contents of odds/ends ribbons my mom hoisted off on me -one of DS old Gi's -DD's old robe -a shirt So this stuff was 3-4 grocery/shopping bags of stuff and the box. Glad it's all gone. -returned a facemask ski thing I accidentally bought, it was for little kids, not adults -dropped the above stuff at donation station -returned 4 soup bowls and two plate easles to my friend -took a bag of glass colored round things and dropped it at my artist mosaic friend's house
THen...I realized DS and I had MISSED getting him SAT test in December!!!! SO when he got home I had him get on his computer and get through that process to book his space for March 10th and e-mail his college counselor (my friend) that he had done. Thankfully there was space left at one location near us, all others were booked already for that date. HOly cow, whew!
We had another, what I will now call, "all house search" for missing, important item of DS last night. THis aggravates me so much...editing.
But overall, great, day, feel good about what was dealt with.
Z.
