Yes I DID: --drag self to 30-something's holiday party. (Pal's daughter). I ate too many cookies but at least I danced --early Barre class this morning, YES --no 'cakes at diner breakfast
Yes I CAN: --use moderation all day --get more steps --get more sleep

Quick morning wave to my positive peeps! Rough night sleep, up at 2:30 and not much sleep after that. I think I dozed a little. Very worried about the next few days here. Never had a purple warning before ugh! Already a few different little fires down at the base of the mountain. Very scary. Basically the word from fire today is they will have a tough time fighting one here if it breaks out because of the winds and be prepared to evacuate. Their focus will be on saving lives and evacuating people. Oh boy! DS is down the mountain, DH is across the mountain, and I'm left with the dog and the work van! Should be interesting if anything happens. Hopefully DH won't be too long across the mountain.
Anyway, will try not to worry too much, but stay vigilant! Doing a tiny bit of stress eating (just eating too much, not too badly). I will put a stop to that now and get focused.
Yes I CAN: -Track track track. -Step step step -Get my papers and things together just in case. -Don't stress.

Hello, Thursday Peeps! Nat: My Niece at Pepperdine is also on alert to evacuate. I think they are being super cautious, but the stress has to be huge for you. Always good to have papers and photos together. Do I? No. Sending BIG prayers your way Nat. Let these darn high winds just stop. Permission granted for a little stress eating. Get out those Zero point foods! Carol: WTG on the dancing at your party! And no cakes! FIDO on the cookies. Janet: Good Luck on your deadlines. Sally: Wow, big happenings in your DC. Watching with fingers crossed. Big winds here in San Diego, but thankfully, no fires. We had a tree go down in the backyard (about 20 ft tall) so no real big deal, it was the same one that went down last year and we just took off the ties last month. Too soon I guess. Santa Ana which means warm temps. for us. It's hot and dry. Chapped lip weather. Intentions Today... --try to think of all the yard litter, there is a LOT of it from the wind, as a new workout and not just more work. --prep veggies and salad. OP dinner. --Jazzercise tonight. Stay on track. Can we do this? YES, WE CAN! Jan
