The Mind ☯ Body ☯ Spirit connection emphasis is creating balance, wholeness, and coherence in our lives. It acknowledges that how we think, what we feel, and what we believe create the life we live and the world around us.
Let's get started! We'll post:

Good morning and Happy Friday all. ♥ Suzanne - I'm sorry, I seem to be suffering from Avatar Disassociation. Good luck with your organization and purging efforts, and also your workout plans. I am wanting to get back in strength/weights training and look forward to reading about your workouts. That is scary news about your SIL, Anetta. Like Lisa, I am sending positive thoughts and prayers for your SIL, and also for your worried heart. Lisa I would never laugh at your reasoning - you always manage good outcomes. Michelle I love your idea of keeping hearts in my pockets and tossing them in the air. And surrounding myself in a bubble. Sending positive energy for your Rainbow Lemonade. Hello to Carol if you check-in today. Affirmation - my pockets are loaded with smiling pastel pink hearts. Workout report - tough workout at M.O.G. - my therapist was laughing over my gasps and moans. Health goal - get some cardio today and hydrate - been slacking on water. Gratitude - having a positivity infusion.

Good Morning, Dear Ones.
I listed to a couple podcasts from The Minimalists last night. Very intriguing. www.theminimalists.com . Tonight, I intend to watch the documentary Lisa mentioned on Netflix. I may have mentioned it yesterday - I also love Taking Control podcasts. www.takingcontrol.com Good podcasts to clean-house to, which is today's exciting task.
Pat, no worries. Maybe I ought to bring back my butterfly avatar! Its funny how we learned/memorized everyone's avatar!
Attended my third dance class again today (MWF). What fun. And I'm starting to meet the group (now to remember names!) It is really a nice bunch of women and the instructor is super. I am blessed for having found the class. The universe did me a huge favor. I love to dance. (Funny thing how muscle-memory from ballet, decades ago, comes back.)
Daily Affirmation: I will keep my body moving. Fitness report: one hour dance class done. Health Goal: watch the evening snack-attacks. Gratitude: That my newly-found classes have really worked wonders for my anxiety and seasonal-depression. And for DH - had it not been for him, I never would have tried these classes.
Good thoughts to all who follow. Suzanne

Good morning and happy Friday, Angels! Thank you all so much for your kind words of encouragement and healing intentions for my SIL. Deep down, I know that all is well and that she and our entire family will be carried through this experience. Lisa, you are the project queen!! May all you do be infused with boundless, productive energy! Letting go of unneeded "stuff" has gotten easier over time but occasionally still encounter resistance to release items to which I've attached sentimental value. But it's an ongoing process, right? So, what will you and your friends be making tonight?? Enjoy! Pat, your therapist sounds like a boot camp drillmaster! It sounds like he knows it is in you to keep pushing your current limits. Keep working hard and the progress will keep coming, my friend! Suzanne, I also have a hard time walking away from plants that catch my fancy. I hope to be more thoughtful about this year's purchases, i.e. taking required maintenance and the chance it will survive the army of gophers that show up around planting time. More and more, I'm becoming a fan of containers, especially since the heavy yard work I used to do just isn't physically possible anymore. Sending energy your way for all planned projects! Rainbow lemonade...I love that and the pocketful of pink pastel hearts, Michelle! Waving hello to Carol! I came home smiling from my doctor's appointment yesterday -- BP was again within normal range for the second month in a row! I'm proud of myself for doing what was necessary to get it under control. Progress on the scale is slow and steady and that's fine with me. I'm gearing up for a busy afternoon with another doctor's appointment (rheumatologist), shopping, and lunch out. Daily Affirmation - I am present for each sacred, precious moment of this day. Fitness Goal - Dog walk and steps while out and about today. Health Goal - Eat to satisfaction, not beyond. Stay hydrated. Gratitude - Blue skies and sunshine for the drive to my appointment. Wishing you all an awesome day!

I'm nearing the end of my house-cleaning - a purely superficial cleaning - and I find myself noting all the clutter. It isn't clutter in the way of decor - I keep that fairly simple. But just piles of papers, stuff that needs to be dealt with. Ugh! It drives me crazy! Anetta, when you said "but occasionally still encounter resistance to release items to which I've attached sentimental value." that rang so true for me. I also find that any project that requires DH tends to get postponed, left undone, or becomes obsolete. Maybe with football season nearing its end, I can catch him for a few hours. I used to have such a good cleaning routine. I'm trying to figure out what happened! Back to baby steps. I can do this. I tried listening to The Minimalists podcast #1 while cleaning but the WiFi seems to not be Wi-Fi-ing. Suzanne

Anetta, Congrats! on the news about your BP.
Suzanne, Love your posts about dancing. If your baby stepping does that mean you are a FLyer. Just wondering because I am one. BTW I call those undone items "Procrastinatables" and will list one or more on my daily to do list until I catch them up. I am surprised how chore amnesia sets in.
Affirmation: KAPOWWWW!!!!!!!!!!
Goal: Be goal-less, or less goaly, Yes maybe less goaly is good for me because I tend to be over goaly.
Gratitude: No snow, rain or chain controls on the highway!
Onward>>>>>
