Good Afternoon, positive e-pals!
Yes I DID: —jazz class yesterday despite snow & cold outside (teens then and now) —have a beer at pub after user group meeting, but stuck to salad w/grilled chicken for meal —have trouble winding down last night (alcohol doesn’t help), but am being kind to myself today: chiro adjustment, leisurely shopping at a small mall
Yes I CAN: —start fresh from this moment, not wait for “tomorrow” —lose just a little the next two weeks (get back to “4” and stay there!) just a pound will do nicely!
My chiro office is running their annual 10-day Detox program in January. I’m in! It doesn’t involve fasting or anything too weird, just some supplements with protein & fiber (which really helped me not feel depleted last time) and a very Freestyle-friendly list of acceptable foods. No sugar, no junk! So that will be my focus next month.
Janet - sending positive vibes your way as you work hard for good purpose. Be sure to take time for you to recharge.
Nat - yay for exemplary food choices at restaurant! I’m looking forward to the new Star Wars movie-and-dinner with old SciFi pals, maybe New Year’s Day…we’ll see.
Jan - my plan for December dittoes yours: maintain for sure, losing also welcomed! My dance term ends Monday….will have to motivate myself to do other exercise for two weeks!
Sally - yay for good habits while traveling and thanks for gentle nudging for steps

Late Night Check-In....again.
I don't think I even sat down once today except for now. It feels so good to rest. Lots of Mom stuff today, holiday shopping, baking bran muffins, repotting plants that really needed it, Jazzercise, make dinner and help clean the garage, then a much-needed shower.
It's after Midnight here so good morning peeps!
Be back after the sun is up.
