Good Morning,
How is Clair doing? When does she get to run around again freely?
Wanted to run a way from the house this morning but have not. There are several things/areas that if force myself to stay the course on will have a big pay off this holiday season, in enjoyment of spaces, orangization, general tidiness and CB victories.
Areas of Focus are to be:
*****8 piles of papers total in den, entryway and kitchen desk area that need addressed. None of them are "giant" so this is do-able if I remain focused. *****Guestroom: just needs general organization of the wrapping supplies that have become strewn about *****possible purge on some of my clothes in MB closet. I need room to hang dressy clothes I purchased yesterday and there are many things I never wear, will never wear again, hanging in there. They must go, it's too tight, and my new things will get ruined. *****work on Christmas cards, painting and addressing
Victories: -found a random magazine page from several months ago DD had torn out and was asking what I'd done with this week!?!?...editing. The picture is of a teenage heart throb. I laid it on her pillow and texted her picture of it with the words "HI!"...which she'll get at school. -found my Christmas card address list! Whew! -have fixed DS' "Festivas Pole" It's a X-mas decoration, we put it out, but the box it sets in had somehow become destroyed.
TaDas -laundry rebooted x2 -family room picked up, more items in DD's "carp sack" -DW is running -MB is made
I went to an in home clothing party recently and purchased some items. I struggle putting outfits together. I wear a t-shirt under EddieBauer flannel shirts and bootcut jeans and similar 99% of time. When I need to dress up sort of Mediumish, like Coctail etc. I have nothing really suitable. So I liked the clothes, she showed how to mix and match things, and there were other things I wanted but it was too expensive. The lady was having a sample sale, items 50 and 65% off this year and previous years things. So I made a point to go to that as there was a jacket/blazer I wanted, and got that and some some cute things that will work and get me through some of these dressier occasions where I need things.
That's it for now, more later,
Hope you're having good day!
Z.

Just loved! reading your shopping story and glad you found some things that will work. I am a 99% person at home also. I have been shot out of a cannon and am choring like crazy which started at 6:30. A huge congrats finding the address list. That struck terror in my heart.
Clair seems fine. Right now she is playing in her water bowl and will not stop. Slap, slap, slap. Just went to investigate, water is every where. The pain meds send her into an alternate universe. This too shall pass.....
BBL with accomplishments!

Such a busy day for me primarily cleaning and organizing the house. I got all the big throw rugs washed which is a lengthy process. 10635 steps today and I was OP. So far so good. There is a lot of puppy management going on at the moment in an attempt to follow the recovery from surgery rules. Better day today since I seem to be getting the hang of it. The Vet called and relieved my anxiety about Clair being so active.
I am enjoying the Christmas lights! Such a nice holiday. A number of years ago I gave DH the gift of a stress free happy wife through this holiday season starting with Thanksgiving. I am sure he has forgotten but not me. For many years I have been able to relax and enjoy the spirituality etc although I sometimes want to go back to being over the top. DH still needs to go shopping. In the past I have had "themed" holidays. For instance when faced with five men and myself I had a DIY Christmas with gifts from the hardware store and a list of items for them to fix! They just loved it. This year I am thinking that the theme could be "tiny gifts" since the gifts have to fit under the tree in the fireplace. Maybe I will come up with a bling list for DH to choose from LOL.
Hope you had a great day!!!

The vision of you being "shot out of a cannon and choring..." since 6:30 AM made me chuckle.
Yes, I was worried about that list as well!
Apparently I'm a shopaholic right now. I went down to DSW and bought some black suede ankle boots to wear with my "cocktail" attire for a function on Saturday night and some calf/knee high, brown fashion boots you where jeans/pants tucked in, they are kind of rustic/western w/ lower chunky heel and buckle on side. I had a 10 dollar and 20 dollar points reward to apply to those, plus they were already %30 off so that was great. I would like those calf high boots in black too and I think I'll get them tomorrow. Then no more clothes shopping for a long while.
I got about 1/2 the cards painted, I will try to finish the other half tonight. I worked on them for two hours.
Hope your day is going well!

Hee...hee they are and I think I will wear them a lot, all of them, and they are not super expensive. I just posted a pic of a painted nutcracker card. Sorry I can't get him rotated properly.
I have to take DD and attend basketball games tonight at high school. Dance team is doing a routine to "run, run, Rudolph" I hpe they at least get to do the whole thing though because the last game we went to they were out there for about 1 minute, no joke, to do a portion of a routine. It was sort of ridiculous. We'll see.
