This challenge was created five years ago by a few Weight Watchers members. We are committed to making positive and permanent lifestyle changes. Success isn’t always measured at the scale. Each day, tally the positive actions that you made the day before and then talk about the challenges you are working on. Anyone with a positive commitment to the program can join. If you are the first one to post each day, please copy, paste and get us started and, if you choose, pose the Question of the Day (QOTD) that solicits constructive ideas to following the plan.

GOOD MORNING!
Carol, just one gift to go!! hooray, I did Christmas cards, wrapped gifts while watching patrol car video of an arrest yesterday. I think I have purchased everything but have a couple left to wrap. Y'all would be proud, I stopped to go to the gym and lift weights. Enjoy the joy of the season.
Like that , I DO ENOUGH!
Jan, I am with you up one pound, so far, do not love new program. I am gaining but of course I am working so much more and working out so much less.
Yesterday: worked less, took long walk and weights. Hung out wash in drizzle. It does not dry as quickly that way. Off to put it away a wee bit damp. Today: work, double header, stay what they describe as OP. I made barley soup and found out it has too many points. I was not OP yesterday. Shame, I made a lot.

Afternoon All... Janet, your post made me smile. Your Barley Soup sounds so good. High Five on stopping at the Y to lift weights. I have to remind myself to take time for my own health as I take care of the holiday cards for Mom, buy gifts for Sweetie's family, and wrap all. What I like to do is cook and bake, but that has some obvious pitfalls...tasting! YES, I CAN... --stay moderate in my holiday eating. Make sure it's something I really, really love before savoring it. --prepare ahead. Check. Tonight's dinner is ready to be warmed up after... --Jazzercise! Carol, your Mantra has helped me more than you know. ENOUGH. YES. Sally, good job staying in the 4's. Looking forward to the end of January! Nat: hope all is well with you and family. Sending a peaceful hour all to yourself. Hi to Michelle and all who need that Can-Do spirit. Jan

Good Afternoon, positive e-pals!
Yes I DID: --dance! make up classes for both jazz and tap, 2 in a row & my legs are tired! --stay OP w/food, so far today. ambivalent re: new program. Pining for the days of 30 SP (now only 23...stay tuned) Since I'm still tracking all, it's not much different for me procedurally. Just a little nudge in the direction of choosing healthier or saying no more often. --shop for a few more things (did I say I was done? almost) I think I'm still overdoing it. ...agonized for at least an hour over toy selection for the kids my lawn guy supports ...so much overpriced/over hyped/battery-operated stuff out there. Also found another thing on sweetie's wish list. Made myself exhausted. Will now repeat the mantra:
I am enough I have enough I do enough
Be well! Carol
