Good Morning,
I'm up, having coffee, painter will be here at 8:00, DD's room is cleared and ready I just need to remove the window covering and valance hardware, and rub a dry towel over everything to dust.
DD ROOM PROJECT: Brought down DD's bed to chalk paint. I'm borrowing my friends floor coverings to combine with my own and this should be do-able in the entryway plus will dry faster. Not going to over think,as long as it ends up mostly white and look better than it does now is all that's required. DD's room will be painted BM "Classic Gray" # OC-23 the trim is white, almost sort of a cream color. Her bedding is gray and her window coverings on order are white/cream with silver threading pattern accents, but those are not here yet. Big day today. DH thinks he can repair the bed, (part of what I edited out yesterday). DD did good job clearing and has quite a CB pile of things for me to sort through into what is trash and what is donatable. This is good.
Painting the bed frame now, I think I have enough paint! Yay!
Z.
P.S. Update, first coat of paint on walls, looking good, first coat of paint on bed frame, it's looking a little primitive, not applied really evenly, hard, due to the knobs...but it will be cute.

DD Room Project: Update, painter is finishing up, color is darkening as it dries, looks nice! In addition to DD's minny CB purge I think we've determined that the electric piano which sets on a collapsible stand, may be something that doesn't have to be set up all of the time in there. We will make decisions later when we start moving stuff back in. We did play with new configuration possibilities last night with the bedframe so there is a tentative plan. Final coat and soft touch varnish is on the bedframe, I am done with it, it looks cute.
When the painter leaves, I will shower, and then head out to make some returns of two extra shoe racks not needed, get a book for bookclub tonight book exchange tonight, and possibly one other return further away, also look into a framing project for an old photograph of DH's.

Z, DD's bedroom sounds very sophisticated and lovely. Hope all the organization comes together the way you are envisioning it.
Super busy day for me today starting with a lot of snow shoveling etc to get the walkways and stairs cleaned up satisfactorily for Luna the old Lab. Put dog paw safe ice melt down etc.. Then I made a trip to town for groceries and to get my errands done. Just have one more errand to do tomorrow when I take Clair in for her check up after her spaying, also Samson is going to get his shots at the same time. DH will have to meet me at the vet's to supervise Samson since those two puppies are just like wild little animals LOL
Lots of walking in the snow prior to departure this afternoon for the errands. 9,987 OP steps soon to be 10,000. Hooray. Need to do something about going to the gym a couple of times a week but I really don't like it and I don't think it is because I am lazy. My old trainer that I had for three years moved way across town adding another 40 minutes round trip. Just to far to commit to going back with her. Many years ago to get started going to the gym I joined a private gym where only two people were in there at a time. The wife trained me. This worked out fairly well. Maybe I can try to find something like that again. Just chatting (as my arms continue to loose their buffness, or actually don't seem buff at all now). I will overcome!!!
I have to say that Clair was so incredibly cute about the snow since it is the first time she has been in it. Last night we were outside where the farm light shines. The wind was blowing and she started chasing the blowing snow. Then she looked up and just stared at the flakes falling down. It was just precious. This morning she was frolicking and just filled with so much joy, running, playing in it. Sometimes I would like to be a puppy!
Hope you enjoyed your book club. Can't wait to here more about the decorating!!!
