This challenge was created five years ago by a few Weight Watchers members. We are committed to making positive and permanent lifestyle changes. Success isn’t always measured at the scale. Each day, tally the positive actions that you made the day before and then talk about the challenges you are working on. Anyone with a positive commitment to the program can join. If you are the first one to post each day, please copy, paste and get us started and, if you choose, pose the Question of the Day (QOTD) that solicits constructive ideas to following the plan.

Hello to all! Janet: your work life sounds challenging- your profession is lucky to have you! Carol: hurray for great tracking Nat: enjoy that tree- Jan: rum balls! Ohhh!!! good for you for adding a WW meeting into all your busy days pre holiday!
I am meandering down the healthy road - my 4 has shown up all but one day on the scale for the past three weeks. I am headed for a goal of 145 or below, with the plan to NEVER go above that number again. I am thrilled by how different food tastes when I am eating it selectively and in moderate portions. My clothes are fitting better. amen sistahs...
On jan 1st- will you be recommitting or still committed? Thursday waves to all!

Happy Solstice, positive e-pals!
The light returns again! I was on the road late this morning and looked up to see the sun just peeking through some thick stratus clouds, realizing its path was at about its furthest south....now it's on the way back north to us, YAY!
Sally - yay for walking that healthy path!
I'm hanging onto my '4'...despite yesterday's indulgence at the pub. Mead! A generous portion of it! And sharing DBF's dessert (to describe it in detail would be cruel)....on the bright side, the pub has added a few vegetarian menu items and I chose a curried chickpea burger, yum!
Yes I DID: --get up for circuit class at the Y --manage to hand in my registration form for winter session classes.(online process had a glitch)..not sure if I'll make it into chorus as there's a wait list, but Tap should be ok --see a 4 on home scale
Yes I CAN: --finish a little shopping for stocking stuffers...a fun chore --stay positive, be grateful, remember that life has its cycles (thank you Solstice, for the reminder ✨)
Be Well! Carol

Happy first day of winter positive peeps! I was really hoping for some snow, ha! Yay Sally for committing to the healthy walk in December. You are doing wonderfully! AOTD: I will be still committed come January 1st. I am doing my best to keep things in control after last week seemed to fall apart...that snowball effect that I let happen too often! Tracking is very important. Christmas Day will of course be more lax and challenging but my hopes are to not let the week then go to h e l l in a hand basket! Since Monday is my WI day now, I will WI before Christmas festivities. The challenge will be not to indulge in any PB balls that I will be making on Sunday night to take down to family. I think chewing gum will be in order.
YES I CAN: -Add more steps to my day, been slacking so badly! -Don't stress about things not ready for Christmas, whatever. -Start wrapping a little each day so that Christmas eve at midnight I'm not wrapping presents! -Think before I react in anger/frustration to someone's question. My fuse gets shorter by the minute with Christmas/finances/time challenges. -Stay positive and smile. Can't be cranky if you are smiling lol
Have a great one! Nat
